In addition, Mira has invested in companies such as SARVA Yoga, Wellbeing Nutrition and Zama Organics. Now, the celebrity wife opened up about her experience while she was interning at a pet care company.

Mira Rajput reveals her first internship involved making cold calls to sell a subscription box

Recently, Mira Rajput attended the ETRetail Celeb Talk, wherein she talked about her initial experiences as an intern. During a candid chat, she revealed that her first internship was with a pet grooming business, where she was assigned to cold call clients. She mentioned the company had a subscription box and a list of clients. So, Mira was assigned to call the customers regularly and ask if they would choose the subscription box to get something personalised monthly. In Mira's words:

“My first internship ever was with Heads Up for Tails. I was making cold calls, because at that time they had a subscription box, and we had a list of clients, and I had to call them up and say, ‘Would you like to subscribe to the subscription box? Every month we are going to send you something personalised’.”

When Mira revealed she was determined to become a surgeon earlier

Earlier, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Mira opened up about her wish to be a surgeon. Talking about her professional endeavours, Mira revealed that she had done several internships during her school and college days. She also discussed witnessing 13-14 live surgeries while interning at a hospital. Moreover, once she was also determined to become a surgeon. However, later, she realised that this required a lot of study and dropped the idea. Mira stated:

“I have done a few things when I was in school and college. I’ve also done several internships. I worked in advertising, too. Initially, I wanted to be a doctor and I even did an internship at a hospital. I was determined to become a surgeon and even saw 13-14 surgeries. But then I realised that it required a lot of study.”

In another interview with Your Story, Mira revealed her journey as an angel investor. The doting wife mentioned how she foresaw the opportunity with her hubby, Shahid. She explained that since Shahid already had a huge fanbase, he was ready with a huge range of customers. Thus, with the help of Shahid's image, she started dealing with entrepreneurs. Mira revealed:

“I started angel investing because I saw that opportunity with my husband. He has this huge audience and people look up to him. He has a ready base of consumers, and I look for things which align with him.”
