In the year 2015, we saw a lot of celebrity weddings but that year will always be remembered for the wedding of Bollywood’s charming actor, Shahid Kapoor with his gorgeous partner, Mira Rajput. The actor had tied the knot with his Delhi-based fiancée, Mira Rajput on July 7, 2015. The most eligible bachelor of the Indian film industry gave up his 'single' status and broke a million hearts. Now that Shahid and Mira are enjoying their 'happily-ever-after' and are proud parents to two adorable cotton balls, Misha and Zain Kapoor. The doting parents never skip a chance to put a smile on our faces by posting cute pictures and videos of their kids on their respective Instagram handles. Coming to the current situation, then Mira Rajput like many others around the world is in self-quarantine with her family members because of COVID-19. The deadly virus has already taken a lot of lives around the globe and with each day, the statistics of confirmed cases are hitting new heights. However, in the middle of this chaotic situation, there are a lot of Bollywood celebrities and people, who are sharing the ways with which they’re spending time with their families. One such celebrity is Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput, who has recently posted a picture showing what she is doing during her self-quarantine period.
On March 21, 2020, Mira Rajput took to her Instagram stories and posted a picture of her daughter, Misha Kapoor’s notebook. In the picture, we can see Mira teaching her little daughter some new words. On the right side, we can see the handwriting of Misha Kapoor and no wonder it reminds us of our childhood days. The doting mother has put a simple caption on the story that can be read as “Yeah we can do this #coolmomchronicles.” In the second story, we saw a caption on a black canvas that can be read as "And then they also peeled potatoes” followed by a sticker that read ‘Staying home’. August 26, 2016, was the day when the beautiful couple had become proud parents for the first time to their baby girl, Misha Kapoor. After which, on September 5, 2018, Misha had gotten promoted to an elder sister’s place as they had welcomed a baby boy, whom they had lovingly named, Zain Kapoor. Ever since their marriage, both Shahid and Mira have been going strong and are giving us major couple goals through their commitments to each other. In an interview with the Mid-Day before the birth of his and Mira’s second baby, Zain, Shahid had expressed his happiness and how the second time was completely different from the first time. The Kabir Singh actor had revealed, “It’s completely different this time. I think we are calmer and more relaxed. Mira and I would be asking questions and having doubts. But this time around, we feel like veterans. We have done it once, so we can handle it this time around.”
Going further in the interview, when he was asked whether Misha understands what it means to have a younger sibling or not? Shahid had remarked, “With a two-year-old, you can’t tell them too much and at the same time, you can’t surprise them completely. So, we make subtle mentions because kids are really absorbent. They learn from looking at things around. She is aware of the change without us having had a conversation with her.”
Last year during an 'Ask Me A Question' session on Instagram, Mira had revealed how she had prepared her little baby girl, Misha to welcome another baby in the family. She had shared, “We spoke to her about it a lot. Read a lot of storybooks to her (Topsy and Tim and The New Baby became a favourite of hers). We let her feel a part of the process even till now! Help around, bring mom a glass of water or sing Wheels on the Bus to Zain if he is crying. We let her feel the baby is hers to take care of, so she felt like a grown-up little helper.” Well, these small things clearly show that both Shahid and Mira are taking care of their kids, Misha and Zain in the best way possible.
