It was on July 7, 2015, that ShaMira (as their fans like to call them) were solemnised as husband and wife to each other. On August 28, 2016, Shahid and Mira entered the parents’ club and welcomed their little princess, Misha Kapoor. The couple were quite clear about family planning as their first priority and then comes work for them. He further said, "The first time we had Misha we were very paranoid parents, so a lot of sleepless nights happened. So, I think we were a lot more settled this time. Honestly, this time I had no trouble. She [Mira] is very mature otherwise she wouldn't have been able to deal with all that has happened in her life.”

Sharing who kept the name of Zain, she retorted, "Mira and Shahid decided it mutually. At the time of Misha's birth, Zain was decided. It was that it will be Misha if it is a girl (combination of Mira and Sasha) and if it is a boy, it will be Zain. Long back I had shared the name with Zain. I had told Shahid that I love 4 names- Shahid, Ishaan, Zain and Kaamraan”.
On the other hand, dadu Pankaj Kapoor expressed his happiness and said, "It's the most delightful thing that can happen to any family. Shahid's family is now complete. God bless all of them. We are thrilled about the new arrival”. (Do Check: Sushmita Sen's Beau Rohman Shawl Cried When Alisah Wins Race, He Also Participated In Father's Race)
When asked about the most special moment with Misha, in the same interview, Shahid was quoted as saying, "It's difficult to choose one moment with your child. Every day is etched in my mind when I am around her. Every time she notices me, and she calls me papa, it's very special." Sharing feelings about embracing fatherhood, Shahid had said in another interview, “Being a first-time father has been one of the most enriching experiences of my life. Misha is a wonderful package of positive energy. Misha is a source of positivity for me. She can make me smile even on my worst days.”
Wishing all the happiness and love to the little munchkins, Zain and Misha as well as their lovely parents Shahid and Mira!
