Bollywood babies are a new sensation in India. But one such Bollywood baby, who is doing rounds on the internet, is not exactly a baby now. Millions today know her for two reasons. First, for her childhood and second, for what she is today and more so, for the person behind her present life.
Still, guessing? We’re talking about Dishani Chakraborty, the daughter of India’s superstar and veteran actor, Mithun Chakraborty. But what’s so special about her?
Well, Dishani is not the biological daughter of Mithun but much more than that. Mithun had rescued her from a garbage bin in her childhood. Yes, you read that right. And, here’s that cute baby:
Mithun Da, who is famous for his dance moves that have earned him the sobriquet of “Disco Dancer”, had adopted this baby found near a dumpster. As per a report, the rescue story goes something like this:
A leading Bengali daily had once reported that a child had been abandoned by her family and left her all alone near garbage. A few passers-by had noticed her and one of them took her home. Mithun read the news the next day and immediately darted across the city.
He instantly expressed his wish to adopt the baby to the rescuers. His wife, Yogita Bali fully supported him in his noble endeavour and took an instant liking to the baby. They completed the paper works and took the baby home.
He named her Dishani and took good care of her like his own daughter, and gave her the beautiful life that she is leading today. Dishani has always been a daddy’s girl and Mithun has left no stone unturned to give her all that she needs in her life.
She is one of the four children in Mithun’s house, the other three being his sons. So, it is but natural, that she has been pampered a lot in her life by her dad and three brothers.
Coming from a family that has given India, one of its biggest superstars of all time, Dishani is quite certainly attached to the movies. In fact, she is a die-hard fan of Salman Khan.
Dishani Chakraborty is currently pursuing an acting course at the prestigious New York Film Academy. No surprises there, right? After all, who else but Mithun’s daughter deserves it, correct?
We hope that the day isn’t far when she will make her Bollywood debut.
