But do you know this time, Indian cricketer, Mohammed Siraj, is also rooting for a contestant inside the Bigg Boss 19? Mohammed is supporting Baseer Ali, also known as Baseer Bob.

Baseer Ali talked about Mohammed Siraj in Bigg Boss 19

Baseer and Siraj both are from Hyderabad and share a strong connection beyond their hometown. During a candid conversation with Amaal Mallik on the show, Baseer expressed his admiration for the cricketer, how much he likes and admires him, and said, “Our Mohammed Siraj, bro, I love him. So much respect! We both started our careers around the same time in Hyderabad.” As per the source, they have never showcased their friendship publicly or on social media, but they share a nice bond and often meet. Not only that, they both follow each other on Instagram, showcasing their bond and friendship. 

Baseer Ali’s game in Bigg Boss 19 

Baseer Ali, who is currently locked in the Bigg Boss 19 house, is trending all over social media because of his performance and his stance on the right things although his journey in Bigg House is nothing less than a rollercoaster. The reality TV star showcased all emotions, whether it's friendship between the trio, Amaal Mallik, Zeeshan Quadri, and him, or his feud with Gauravv Khanna, Kunickaa Sadanand, or any other housemate. 

Baseer Ali, is seen ruling social media and has proved he can turn criticism into praise with his actions. Former contestant and Bigg Boss winner Gauhar Khan, has shown support for him. Taking to X, Gauhar praised Baseer’s game and wrote, “I like how Baseer is not afraid to take a stand and voice his opinion when he has to. I like his play.” Gauhar was referring to the incident that happened last week when wildcard Malti Chahar talked about Nehal Chudasama’s dress. 

Baseer Ali’s mother cleared the air about his love angle 

In a recent conversation with TOI, Baseer Ali’s mother talked about the speculations about his love angles. His mother, Afshan, shared that her son has always been a logical and responsible child, helping with life decisions even when he was six and a half years old. She said:

"Baseer has always been a very logical and responsible child. Even at just six and a half years old, he helped me make major life decisions; he was my strength and did it so effortlessly. So, for the housemates to call him aggressive is completely untrue. Yes, he cannot tolerate injustice. If he feels something is wrong, he will always take a stand, and so will I. I don't think there's anything wrong with that."

Baseer Ali’s mother also talked about the incident when Malti read Baseer’s palm and said that he is not what he appears to be. To which she firmly replied, that this is all untrue. I have known my son for years, and he’s exactly the same person he appears to be. She further added: 

"I've known my son for years, and he's exactly the person he appears to be. Have you noticed? Even if he argues with someone, he never holds grudges. The moment he feels he's even slightly wrong, he goes and apologises. He is extremely warm-hearted and genuine. Unfortunately, the way some housemates are trying to portray him is far from the truth."

Afshan, further talked about linking Baseer’s name with Nehal Chudasama and Farrhana Bhatt. She said he is just playing his game and isn't there to find any love. All these assumptions are completely baseless. When asked about his reduced screen time, she replied that he is visible in the live feed, but when the show is broadcast, he is hardly shown. She further added, how it bothers her and wants makers to take this into account, as his fans and audience like to see him more.
