Popular actress, Mona Singh began her acting career with the Television drama, Jassi Jaisse Koi Nahin, in 2000. Since then, she has never looked back, and over the years, the gorgeous diva has swooned our hearts with her numerous performances. For the unversed, she had tied the knot with an investment banker, Shyam Rajagopalan on December 27, 2019, in an intimate ceremony. Since then, the madly-in-love couple is enjoying every moment of their marital journey.
Mona Singh is an avid social media user and keeps sharing glimpses from her life. For instance, on July 6, 2021, Mona had taken to her IG handle to share a video, comprising some precious memories from one of her vacations with her hubby, Shyam Gopalan. In the video, Mona was seen having a gala time with Shyam while posing with him. She captioned the video as:

In an interview with ETimes, Mona Singh opened up about how much her life has changed post-marriage and revealed many small things about the same. She said that though life changes to some extent since a girl needs to shift from her parent's house to her partner's. However, knowing Shyam Rajagopalan for a longer period of time eased the process. She also mentioned that she lives at a distance of about five minutes from her parents, thus, she can see them every day. Talking about the same, she said:
“Life does change to a certain extent because one starts living with their partner after leaving their parents; house. But I knew him for six years as a friend before we got married, so it wasn’t such a big difference. I am enjoying the small changes that have happened in my life after marriage. Also, I am glad that I stay just five minutes away from my parents’ house and I manage to see them every day.”
In the same conversation, Mona was asked how she manages her work and personal life. To this, she mentioned that she works for three months, and afterwards, she used to take time out for her family. In this way, she feels good about being an actor and added:
“Fortunately, I have managed to balance work and my personal life beautifully so far, and now that’s possible because I am doing web shows. I work for three months and then I take out time for myself and my family, and then I look at the next script that I could work on. I love this life. As an actor, one gets time to rejuvenate.”

Further, the 3 Idiots actress revealed that even two years post her marriage with Shyam, the couple didn't go on a honeymoon. She mentioned that they are still trying to figure out a 10-15 days plan. However, things are getting cancelled due to the current situation. She said:
“I have been telling my husband for the past two months that we should plan a trip abroad. But we are still trying to lock a date where we get 10-15 days at a stretch. But the way things are going in Europe - with flights getting cancelled and the Monkeypox scare - I’m not sure if we should plan a holiday right now. Yes, we still have to plan our honeymoon, which I know sounds funny because it’s been two years since we got married!”
Mona ended the interview by mentioning that she is glad that the duo got to spend quality time together during the pandemic. Revealing whatever they had done together, she concluded:
“We couldn’t travel due to the pandemic, but we did spend some quality time together, cooking, watching films and just chilling.”
On the work front, Mona will next be seen in the film, Laal Singh Chaddha!
