Mona Singh is one of the most popular faces of the showbiz world. She made her debut with the serial, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, where she gained massive fandom despite playing an unusual character. Thereafter, she landed onto some big opportunities in Bollywood, post which she never looked back on her career. Recently, the diva shared a fan moment with one of the biggest superstars, and it has taken the internet by storm.
Taking to her IG handle on November 3, 2023, Mona Singh dropped an unmissable glimpse of none other than Shah Rukh Khan. The picture, which happened to be the first-ever picture of King Khan from his own birthday bash, took the internet by storm in split seconds. Interestingly, Mona and SRK twinned in black ensembles. While SRK wore a black embellished shirt, Mona donned a black dress. In one of the pictures, Shah Rukh could be seen giving a peck of love to Mona’s cheek. Along with the pictures, Mona penned a note and expressed her happiness in sharing such a special moment with the superstar. She wrote:
“Overwhelmed with the LOVE u showered on me, I love u bas happpy birthday @iamsrk.”

In one of her earlier interviews with Radio Nasha, Mona Singh recalled a time when she had been shooting for her debut serial, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi and shared how, for an episode, they were visited by Shah Rukh Khan, along with his then-little children, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan. Sharing the most special compliment she received from SRK, Mona said:
“Shah Rukh Khan had come with his kids on the sets of Jassii Jaissi Koi Nahin. Tab Aryan chotu sa tha, Suhana choti si godh mai thi and Shah Rukh sir humare saamne khade the. I froze. And at that moment I was in Jassii’s costume. I kept on thinking in my mind with regret, he does not know how I look, I wanted him to know how I look. Shah Rukh sir came and told me, my kids love you. I was like, really? He said, they only eat their food after listening to your title track. I was just looking at him.”
In yet another previous interview with Mirchi Plus, Mona Singh spoke about her iconic debut show, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi and revealed some shocking facts. She shared how she wasn’t allowed to reveal her true self in public, and always had to carry the image of her character, ‘Jasmeet Walia’ everywhere. Moreover, she added how she wasn’t allowed to visit the salon and do her eyebrows or get waxed, so as to stay within the look of her character.

In an earlier interview with India Today, Mona Singh spoke about an unheard anecdote of facing the casting couch in the showbiz world. The actress shared that it happened long back when she used to travel from Pune to Bombay to give auditions. Elaborating more, Mona shared:
"I have. But that was, like, at the time, even before I got ‘Jassi…’. It was the time when I used to come from Pune to Bombay for auditions. I did meet a couple of people who made me feel uncomfortable and really weird and horrible."
