Ziva Dhoni is the little munchkin of MS Dhoni who has always made Dhoni’s fans go 'awww' about her cuteness. Dhoni got married to Sakshi Singh on July 04, 2010 and the couple welcomed their daughter on February 6, 2015. The doting daddy, Dhoni has always talked about how his life changed after the birth of his daughter, Ziva. He also revealed that becoming a father, especially to a daughter is a completely different feeling which cannot be put in words.
Ziva Dhoni is a favourite among Dhoni’s fans. The little munchkin is a sensation on social media who has time and again stormed the internet with her oh-so-cute videos. On October 24, 2019, Dhoni took to his Instagram handle and shared a boomerang video where his daughter was helping him to clean his jeep. Dressed in a red t-shirt and checked-skirt school uniform, Ziva took our breath away. In an interview with The Times of India, Dhoni had talked about his feelings towards his daughter, Ziva and had stated, “It is a very different feeling, and I personally find it very difficult to put it in words. It is more of an emotion, and I feel I have not really missed a lot of things in life, but after a while when I am outside, after a few days, I actually start missing Ziva. Not to the extent that it starts bothering my cricket and all, but it is the first time ever when I feel, maybe I should Facetime to see what she is really doing.”
In the same interview, Dhoni had also talked about embracing fatherhood and had stated, “Your life does change with the kind of smile the baby gives you. She doesn’t care whether I play for my country or play for a good franchisee like Chennai. She wants to cry, she cries. It gives a very good feeling.”
Dhoni is always seen sharing a very warm bond with Ziva and has always said that she has changed his perspective towards life. He had also revealed that how he was not there when Ziva was born and the whole situation made him really emotional but he never led that affect his professional life. He credits his wife, Sakshi for balancing his life and managing the house very well.
Mahi and Sakshi have completed 9 years of marital bliss and have been giving couple goals to Millenials. In an interview with a leading portal, Mahi had revealed about his equation with his wife and had revealed, "Sakshi provides the spark I might sometimes need. Jokes aside, she is the person to whom I have a reference. She is both loving and inspirational. Sometimes she travels with me, but cricket is easier without having to ensure her safe passage. One day, we will see the sights together and she says that then, can she please move to number two on the list of my priorities! But for the moment I am here to play cricket.
