Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani did the impossible of bringing Hollywood and Bollywood stars together under one roof in India. The Ambanis always dreamt of a cultural centre and their dream turned reality with a grand three-day launch of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Centre. While it was a jam-packed three days, the food was on the next level. They served the guests lip-smacking food in silver thalis.
Pictures and videos from the grand three-day launch of NMACC are going viral on the internet. In one of the pictures, we saw a sweet dish topped with Rs. 500 notes. It looks damn tempting! However, those are fake notes on the sweet dish, inspired by Daulat ki Chaat, a much-loved recipe in North India. So, yes, that's how the guests were served a dish, topped with Rs. 500 notes, which were fake. Only Ambanis can think of it!

Indians truly believe in Atithi Devo Bhava, a Sanskrit shloka that means guests are like God. And Ambanis lived by the Indian mehmaan nawaji as they served Indian delicacy in silver thalis. On April 1, 2023, Maheep Kapoor shared a picture of the food that was served to them at the NMACC gala. The pictures show a huge silver thali with a variety of bowls in it, featuring rotis, dal, palak paneer, papad laddoo and other delicacies. A glass of wine accompanied the food.

For the Ambanis, the cultural centre holds a deep meaning. Nita Ambani loves Indian arts and dance forms, especially Bharatnatyam, which she started learning at the age of six. It was the prime reason they created a space that hopes to bind the community through the common thread of the arts. It is a tribute to India’s glorious legacy, traditions, and heritage, that people across the world can enjoy.
Nita Ambani and her daughter, Isha Ambani have been working on the project. It is an inclusive centre for performers and visitors. The family had worked hard on the look of the centre with world-class infrastructure and robust programming.
We loved the Ambanis and their mehmaan nawaji! What about you?
