The Chairperson of Reliance Industries Limited has been leading the headlines for the success and development of his giant conglomerate for years now. However, the latest update is that Mukesh Ambani's security has been upgraded from Z to 'Z plus' to give him an extra layer of protection.
Well, there is no denying the fact that the Ambanis never take their security lightly, and they are always cautious about guarding themselves no matter where they are. Moreover, the reports had stated that Prithvi would have discreet security spread across a radius of 1 km of the school, and he would also have a team of doctors.

According to a report in PTI, it is stated that on September 29, 2022, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has decided to upgrade the security cover of Mukesh Ambani to 'Z plus' from the present Z category based on a perceived threat perception by the Intelligence Bureau. The report added that the billionaire will now be guarded by an army of around 40-50 commandos, who would work in shifts, and the cost of security will be endured by the businessman himself.
For the unversed, it was in 2013, when the 65-year-old business tycoon was first granted the 'Z' category security cover of CRPF commandos on a payment basis. On the other hand, his wife, Nita Ambani was also accorded an armed cover of a lower category of 'Y+' which includes a lesser number of commandos. Their family members were also spotted with a huge security around them whenever they stepped out.

The discussion to increase Mukesh Ambani's security cover had been underway ever since an explosive-laden Scorpio was found parked near his residence, Antilia, in February 2021. However, it was only after a recent security review meeting that the central intelligence and security agencies recommended to upgrade the security of the Mukesh Ambani, who is also the 10th wealthiest person in the world, according to the latest Bloomberg index.
