The actress rose to fame with her role as 'Babita' in the most popular sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. In her personal life, the actress is speculated to be in a relationship with her 9-years-younger co-star, Raj Anadkat. A few days ago, reports were rife that the diva got engaged to Raj. A few days after the reports about Munmun Dutta getting engaged to Raj Anadkat surfaced online, the actress took to her IG handle and dropped two cryptic posts, which she seemingly deleted now. In one of the posts, the actress wrote about how rumours spread like wildfire and how they keep coming back like boomerangs. She also sassily said that she is not engaged, not even married and not pregnant. Soon after the reports about Munmun Dutta getting engaged to Raj Anadkat made headlines, the diva slammed shut all such rumours and straightaway denied the same. In an interview with The Times Of India, Munmun Dutta stated that there are zero ounces of truth in all such reports, and she doesn't want to put her energy into such fake news. As per a report News18 Showsha, Munmun, and Raj's relationship got approved by their family members, and they got engaged to one another in a close-knit ceremony in the presence of their family members. As per the same report, Munmun and Raj exchanged rings in Vadodara, Gujarat. As per a close source, the duo has been dating one another since the show, TMKOC aired on television. The source also revealed that everyone on the sets of the show was aware of the duo's relationship, and many of them were even certain that Munmun and Raj would get married soon.

It was back in 2021 when a report by ETimes claimed that Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat had been dating each other, and their families were aware of the same.
