In a December 2025 interview with The Times of India, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary addressed persistent rumours and trolling regarding her alleged plastic surgery. She clarified that the recent changes in her appearance were primarily due to health issues and medical treatments. She said people judged her appearance without knowing what she had been through for a long time or how hard the phase had been. Priyanka revealed being prescribed "a heavy dose of antibiotics," which made her face bloated and body slimmer, leading to physical issues for her. Her exact words were:

"All these things have been happening for a long time. I was on medication throughout last year and was given very heavy doses of antibiotics, but most people don't know that. It made me lose weight, but my face was bloated, even though people thought it was something else."

Regarding speculation that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary underwent surgery, she neither denied nor confirmed the claims. The Bigg Boss 16 star instead said that if someone wanted minor changes to their physical appearance, that was okay and shouldn't be subject to public judgment. Talking about herself, she mentioned facing allegations of undergoing cosmetic procedures just by applying kajal and wearing eye lenses. According to her, makeup can drastically alter one's appearance, sometimes leading others to assume one has undergone surgical procedures. Regarding that, Priyanka stated:

"As for small things, that's okay. Everyone has the right to enhance their looks, and that is completely my choice. If I apply kajal or wear lenses, people start thinking I've done something to my face. Guys, this is my face and it has its own personality. It's just a little touch-up or makeup. If you break it down as makeup, people still end up saying something, and that's not right."

In a recent interview with IANS, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary addressed the inevitable comparisons she faces as the new lead of the Naagin TV series. Priyanka acknowledged that the show has seen many 'iconic Naagins' over its previous six seasons, and she takes comparisons with them positively. She remains focused on giving her 100 percent to her role and playing it honestly. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary told IANS:

"Definitely, comparisons will be there, and that is very normal. I feel one should take them in a positive way because comparisons happen everywhere. If there is any comparison, I would just like to say that since the show has had six seasons, there have been many iconic Naagins and several successful seasons."
