It was a beautiful pre-wedding ceremony for which Sobhita wore a pink Kanjiavaram silk saree gifted to her by Chaitanya's mother, Lakshmi Daggubati. For the unversed, Naga Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna was the first to break the news of his son's engagement. He took his social media handle, X, and shared photos of the soon-to-be-married couple. He added that at 9:42 in the morning, the couple's engagement ceremony was completed. He expressed excitement about welcoming Sobhita to his family. He wrote:
