Popular South Indian actor, Nagarjuna and his wife, Amala Akkineni are one of the sought-after married couples in the film industry. The much-in-love couple never misses a chance to mesmerise us with their love and care for each other. Despite all these years of their wedding, Nagarjuna and Amala still possess that spark of new love in their marriage. Apart from being in love with each other, Amala and Nagarjuna make sure to guide each other in their respective life decisions with their unfiltered opinions.
Thus, just like every couple in the world, Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni have often encountered conflicts and issues in their marriage. Once in an interview, Amala Akkineni recalled the time when her husband and South Indian actor, Nagarjuna stopped talking to her after she sent their Labrador dog away without informing him.

Once in an interview with a news portal, Amala Akkineni talked about her married life with her husband and South Indian actor, Nagarjuna. She was asked to recall the time when she had a major conflict or argument with her husband. Opening up about the same, Amala talked about their dog and revealed when their puppy turned out to be a reason for a conflict between them. Amala had stated that when they brought the puppy home, she sent him for training for a period of 30 days. However, she admitted that she hadn't discussed it with Nagarjuna. Hence, when he had returned back to home, he hadn't found his four-legged baby and got into a fight with his wife. Recalling the same, Amala had said:
"I sent that Labrador for training and that too for a month. I want that one to be trained well. One day, when Nag came home, it wasn't there to receive him and he got shocked. So when he asked me and Akhil, I told him where it went. After that, he said he will never talk to me again."
South Indian actor, Nagarjuna is extremely close to their Labrador dog even to this very day, and one can just imagine the love and care he had when he was just a puppy. Thus, after finding out that his wife, Amala sent that small puppy to a training centre for a period of 30 days, he got extremely upset with her. Further in the interview, Amala had revealed that after not talking to her for ten days, her hubby finally understood the importance of her strong step. However, Nagarjuna still told Amala that he would never forget what she did to their puppy without informing him about it. She had said:
"I waited for a week. Nag did not talk to me. After ten days or so, he realised that what I did was correct and understood the importance of training a dog. He spoke to me after that, but he always said he will never forgive me for sending it away for so long."

For the unversed, before becoming a hero in the South Indian film industry, Nagarjuna had got married to iconic film producer, Dr D. Ramanaidu's daughter, Lakshmi Daggubati. Their respective families fixed the match, and it was in 1984 when Nagarjuna and Lakshmi tied the marital knot with each other. After some years of their wedding, they were blessed with a baby boy, whom they had named Naga Chaitanya. However, soon, cracks started appearing in their happy married life, and despite their best efforts, they got divorced after six years of their marriage in 1990.
After his divorce from Lakshmi Daggubati, the South Indian actor worked with gorgeous actress, Amala Mukherjee in some films, and they formed a beautiful bond with each other. Soon their friendship had ignited feelings in their hearts for one another, and after some time, they started dating each other. It was in 1992 when Nagarjuna and Amala had decided to tie the knot, and it was in 1994 when they welcomed a baby boy, Akhil Akkineni, into their lives.
