To announce the good news, Nakuul and Jankee had written, “February 3, 2021 This is Us Grateful and sleepy in equal measure. *Ing: @nakuulmehta & Him.”
Nakuul Mehta took to his IG handle and shared some dreamy throwback pictures from one of Jankee's pregnancy photoshoots. Jankee can be seen laughing her heart out in the first picture while Nakuul looked intently at her baby bump. Jankee looked like an angel in a white dress. The second picture featured the lovely couple looking in each other's eyes, setting major couple goals. Nakuul captioned his post as "When at night, Your toes touch mine, I'll sing you to sleep. If you were mine to keep... @jank_ee. #EachDayYourDay."
After her baby boy, Sufi's birth, Jankee Parekh had taken to her IG handle to reveal why she had wanted her hubby, Nakuul Mehta to be around after her delivery. Jankee had written, “You don’t need the husband for the baby but you need him for YOU! Ever since Sufi was born, I made it very clear to both our mothers that only Nakuul will sleep at the hospital in the nights and post delivery I’d be in the comforts of my own home and not at my mother's for 40 days. ( an unsaid tradition in most Indian families) The main reason being I wanted Nakuul to be involved in everything from Day ZERO.” (Also Read: Sanjay Dutt Posts A Picture With Daughters, Trishala And Iqra As He Celebrates The Women In His Life)

The newbie mommy had further expressed that she was proud of her decision and how Nakuul had stood by her in the past 24 days. She had continued, “Whilst being proud of the decision we made, I very soon also realised, that there's only that much your partner can contribute in the initial days after the birth of your child. At the end of the day, it’s mainly the mother and probably a nanny ( if you are fortunate to have one) who’s doing most of the work. Since all the baby does is feeding/ burping / pooping/ crying / sleeping repeat. But when I look back at these last 24 days, I couldn’t have done it, if it wasn't for Nakuul by my side.”
On March 3, 2021, Sufi had turned one-month-old and the doting mommy, Jankee had shared the first-ever picture with her baby boy on her IG handle. In the picture, we could see Jankee crying as she hugged her son tight. She had written, "1st of March was the first time I left Sufi home alone whilst I went to the dentist for just literally 40 mins. I was prepping for it all day, timing everything in a way that I manage to feed him well and also manage to reach the doctors in time. But of course nothing ever goes as planned when you really want it to My cellphone rang five mins before I was about to finish at the dentist and was told that Sufi is awake and crying incessantly. The next ten mins from the time I left the dentist until the time I reached home, I felt a whole lot of emotions that I probably I haven’t felt for anyone else in the world."
