In an interview with ETimes, Nakuul Mehta opened up about how his life changed after embracing parenthood and revealed that it has also impacted his approach towards his work. He shared that he feels easier at work and added that parenthood has rubbed off on his professional life. Talking about the same, Nakuul said:
"Sufi doesn’t watch TV. I mean we are professionals at work so I don’t think it really changes anything. Of course I get little time at home and I miss that. But what parenthood has done is definitely it has rubbed off on my professional life. I feel much easier at work. I feel a different kind of ease on camera. I think it has changed the way I approach scenes in a very sort of subconscious way, but I see that in the output. I see a different kind of ease which probably wasn’t there earlier."
Earlier, in a conversation with Pinkvilla, Nakuul Mehta had talked about how he and his wife, Jankee Parekh Mehta protect their son, Sufi Mehta from social media. He had revealed that he and Jankee haven't switched on their TVs for the last two years. He had added that since the day Sufi was born, he was only exposed to video calls, and that too, was only when their friends and family wanted to see the baby boy. In his words:
“He is a year old now. But both me and Jankee do not encourage any digital screen time at home so we have not switched on our TVs for the last 2 years. Also because one, we wanted to cut it off from our lives. Secondly, when Sufi was born we did not want him to be exposed to this. He has only seen the phone when there is a video call and a family or a friend wants to say hi to him. But no TV, no cartoon. He listens to music on digital which is fine.”
