Namita Thapar is one of the most gorgeous businesswomen in India. She is the Executive Director of India Business, Emcure Pharmaceuticals. Currently, she is grabbing a lot of limelight with her stint in the popular business reality show, Shark Tank India season 2. Namita's witty responses on the show and her famous dialogue, "Ye meri expertise nahi hai toh I am out" became viral on the internet and allowed the entrepreneur to make her way to the audience's hearts. Recently, Namita shared how she has to pay the price of being a popular face.
On January 14, 2023, the businesswomen, Namita Thapar took to her Twitter handle and shared how she fell prey to her househelp's toxicity. Revealing the price, she had to pay for being a public figure, Namita mentioned in her tweet that her househelp stole her phone and put a demeaning post on her social media handles. Apologising to her followers for the nasty social media posts, Namita wrote,
"This is what hate does to this world, makes people toxic. An educated house help who was removed stole my phone & put a hateful post on me on social media. Price of being a public figure! Apologies!"

For those who don't know the context, a few days ago, Namita Thapar's social media account got hacked. Her Instagram bio was also changed to "Shitty mother, shittier wife". Besides this, a post was also shared on her IG stories with a picture of Namita. In the picture, the businesswoman can be seen donning a blue-coloured printed maxi dress. Along with the photo, a message was also written asking people to unfollow Namita. Now, it has been revealed that her account was not hacked rather, her househelp was using it and did all this to take revenge on her. The message can be read as:
"This is Namita's son. I just want the world to know that the person you see on TV is not who you think she is. Unfollow her as soon as possible. Will explain why in the due course of time."
Earlier, in a conversation with author, Chetan Bhagat on his YouTube channel, Namita had opened up about being fat-shamed and bullied in her teenage. Talking about the same, the entrepreneur revealed that her classmates used to mock her for her weight and facial hair. She even mentioned how people used to call her names like moti and moustache girl. Namita also opened up about suffering from an emotional eating disorder while she was studying abroad.
