Shark Tank India has been one of the much-loved shows since the time it was aired. The show became a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and pursue their dreams while sealing the deals with the much-loved Sharks of the show. One of the famous Sharks on STI is none other than the Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Namita Thapar, who is indeed an inspiration for many out there. However, Namita recently hosted an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit, wherein she talked about several aspects such as entrepreneurship, leadership, and her experience on Shark Tank, among many others. She also gave some fiery responses to the netizens who questioned her about running the family business.
For those who don't know, Emcure Pharmaceuticals was founded by Satish Ramanlal Mehta back in 1981 with the vision to provide patients with affordable and high-quality healthcare to improve their lives. However, it was in 1999 that Namita joined her father, Satish's company, and since then, she has been working with sheer dedication in this company.

However, in her recent AMA session, a Redditor asked the businesswoman a question about her role in her company. She was also asked what made her say 'yes' to being a shark. Moreover, the Redditor asked Namita about how she could advise someone about business, as she didn't buy Emcure Pharmaceuticals on her own. To this, Namita gave a sassy response and stated:
"Scaling a family business requires an entrepreneurial mindset too."

In the same AMA session, another user asked Namita Thapar what she would do if her 'daddy's money' wasn't there. However, Namita gave a classy response and stated that she is a CA and an MBA, so she would do fine without even her dad's money. The businesswoman also revealed what is her role as an Executive director in her company, Emcure Pharmaceuticals.
In the same session, Namita Thapar was asked by one of the Redditors about her possible career choice if she didn't end up as an entrepreneur. Answering this, Namita mentioned that she would like to be a 'teacher'. Going further in the question-answer session, Namita was asked about the best memories from STI. To which, the entrepreneur stated that the best memories are the lunch hours and impromptu dance sessions with her fellow sharks and the team during breaks.
On the other hand, another netizen asked Namita why Shark Tank feels so 'sensationalised' as a 'saas-bahu' opera. Replying to the same, Namita mentioned that everything on the show is real, and if people take their show to be dramatic, then it means the sharks are dramatic and having fun on the show. On being asked if the sharks have any rift between one another, Namita added that they completely adore each other.

While being on the AMA session, one user praised Namita Thapar and asked her how she deals with all the trolls around her for taking over her papa's business. Namita mentioned that, in reality, these trollers helped her become more thick-skinned. Check out Namita's reply:
