Indian actress, Namrata Shirodkar was a part of Miss Universe 1993 and represented India. While her beauty left a remarkable impact on the hearts of many, she wasn't able to win the crown. Now, a video from her Miss Universe 1993 stint has made rounds on the internet, and netizens are sure it is because of her 'dumb' answer in the 'question and answer' round.
Namrata Shirodkar, who got married to Telugu actor, Mahesh Babu, represented India at Miss Universe 1993. An old video has been making rounds on social media platforms like Reddit and Instagram. In the clip, Namrata looked stunning in a golden gown. She styled her look with heavy earrings. The video was from one of the question rounds.

In the video, Namrata was asked if she would like 'live forever', to which she replied with a no and stated that she doesn't believe anyone can live forever. Her answer didn't leave a mark in the hearts of the judges, and she finished in sixth place. As the video resurfaces, netizens are also not happy with her answer.
Netizens are sure that she lost out on winning the Miss Universe crown because of her 'dumb' response to the hypothetical question. One user wrote, "I did not like her answer, it was a hypothetical question which suggested an answer as yes or no followed by justification." Another commented, "That’s a dumb answer."

Namrata has been a part of some of the famous films like Kacche Dhaage, Vaastav: The Reality, Pukar, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar and Bride and Prejudice. The actress got married to Mahesh Babu in 2005 and left the world of glam and glitz. The couple is parents to a daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni and a son, Gautam Ghattamaneni.
