The new finding has sparked online speculation, with many wondering whether the two cases are linked. However, the officials say that the investigation will take some time.
According to a new update on X, Scottsdale, Arizona, has started a new death investigation after they found a body in a canal near Indian Bend Road and 76th Street. The official statement from the Scottsdale Police Department revealed that the emergency crews left for that site around 8 a.m. on March 28, 2026. A passerby saw the body in the water and alerted the authorities, which also alerted the media. Subsequently, the police and fire personnel have been working with the local agencies to collect the body and secure the scene.

Notably, the investigators confirmed that the victim is an adult woman, but they have not been able to identify her for now.
