Tommaso Cioni was the last person who drove Nancy Guthrie to her home, on January 31, 2026, after which she went missing. While Tommaso was said to 'may be' a person of interest, the sheriff, Chris Nanos, revealed that no family member is involved in this case, while adding that each of the members has been helping. It may be the case that Tommaso was being investigated for inspection purposes.

To mention, his home, which is 10-minutes away from Nancy's home, was investigated twice, which is connected to Nancy Guthrie's kidnapping. On the other hand, a self-proclaimed neighbour revealed to an independent journalist that Tommaso's school, where he works, is in his support in this case.

For the unversed, for the last 15 years, Tommaso has been associated with this school, where he teaches Biology to sixth-grade students. He also earlier worked in a band, and is also associated with creative work, including poetry. It was reported that Tommaso was the one who got the ransom note from the alleged abductor, which demanded millions of dollars in USD. Till now, nothing on Tommaso's link to Nancy's abduction has been confirmed.
