After making India proud with her walk at the 77th International Cannes Film Festival, Nancy Tyagi shared unheard details of her life. She talked about the viral gown that left the world to notice her. Not only this, she also opened up about her mother and her struggle to work in a factory, which gave her the courage to earn money. For those who don't know, the 23-year-old fashion influencer, Nancy Tyagi walked the red carpet of Cannes 2024 in a self-stitched pink gown.

Recently, Nancy Tyagi appeared on Ranveer Allahabadia's podcast, where she talked about her life so far and how she created waves with her one look. Nancy also talked about her viral dance and stated that she knew that the bigger she made her dress, the more it would get noticed on the Cannes Red Carpet. Further in the podcast, Nancy stated that she wanted to remove her mother from her job in a factory. Nancy stated that she didn't want to earn money; she just wanted an amount so that her mother stopped going to work. She stated:

"Mujhe paisa nahi chahiye tha, mujhe mummy ko kaam se hatwana tha."

Nancy further stated that her dream was to complete 12th and complete graduation. However, her mother went to the factory during the same time, and she sidelined her dream, and wanted to take her mother out of the factory. The fashion influencer also broke down while talking about her mother She stated:

"Mera sapna sideline hogaya tha. Mujhe tha mujhe yeh jaan bachani hai. Toh haan, khatra tha udher, matlab waha pata chalta tha kisi ka aaj machine mein haath aa gya. Toh tension rehti thi ki humare sath na ho jaye aisa... Mai ro kyo rahi hoon... Ghar bhi ban jayega, sab ho jayega, ab mujhe khushi hai ki mummy araam se hai."

Nancy Tyagi's early life

Nancy Tyagi, 23, was born in Baranwa village in Uttar Pradesh. She moved to New Delhi in the hope of clearing her UPSC exams. However, the world was hit with lockdown, which gave Nancy an opportunity to listen to her heart's calling. The financial difficulties gave Nancy the idea to create fashion from scratch. While she didn't receive instant success, she kept working hard and posting videos of her self-stitched outfits for 1.5 years.
