Nandika Dwivedi Issues A Statement On Her Involvement With Palaash, 'I Had Been Receiving Threats..'

Indian cricketer, Smriti Mandhana, and music composer, Palaash Muchhal’s wedding, which was supposed to take place on November 23, 2025, was put on hold after her father was hospitalised. However, a lot of speculations surfaced post it, claiming that Palaash was allegedly cheating on Smriti with other women. One of the names that surfaced was Nandika Dwivedi, one of the choreographers of his and Smriti’s wedding.

Nandika Dwivedi denies any involvement with Palaash Muchhal

Amid Nandika being named as the other woman in Palaash and Smriti’s relationship, many news articles are reporting her as the reason the wedding was disrupted. However, Nandika broke her silence on the matter and issued a statement regarding the same. She wrote:

“Over the past few days, I’ve seen speculation about my involvement in a situation that has been deeply personal for other people. I want to address and clarify that the assumptions being made about me, particularly the idea that I played a role in disrupting anyone’s relationship, are simply NOT true.”

Nandika Dwivedi revealed getting threats amid the controversy

In her long note, Nandika also revealed that her family is getting affected amid the rumours. She also revealed getting falsely accused and the rumours taking a toll on her mental health. Sharing details about getting threats, Nandika said:

“I had been receiving threats which family members could see, and that’s why I had made my account private. Please, I request you all to stop the rumours… I have sacrificed a lot to come to Mumbai, to work and achieve my goals. Please do not take my name further than this; I have nothing to do with any of it.”

Who is Nandika Dwivedi?

According to several reports, Nandika is a dancer who was reportedly tasked by celebrity choreographer, Bosco with teaching Palaash to dance ahead of his sangeet. Apart from Bosco, she has also worked with other popular names in the dance industry. Nandika has also worked with Piyush Bhagat and Shazia Samji of Besos fame. She has also featured as a lead dancer in the music video of Tere Piche, by Mansimran. 

Palaash Muchhal’s cheating rumours

After the wedding was postponed, Smriti deleted pictures and videos of her with Palaash from her social media handles. Amid this, Mary D'Costa shared screenshots of flirty messages that she allegedly received from Palaash Muchhal. Initially, it was said that she was a choreographer by profession and was also supposed to teach Palaash and Smriti dance numbers for their wedding. However, after Mary addressed being misidentified, online sleuths on Reddit suggested that not Mary, but a dancer named Nandika, was the one allegedly caught with the groom while getting close to him during choreography sessions.
