Toward the climax of HIT: The Third Case, Karthi makes a powerful entrance, teasing his lead role in the upcoming film, HIT 4. While the fans feel overjoyed about his venture into the franchise, the film left certain viewers outraged. In the Telugu version, Karthi was heard saying, "Do you think I don’t know Telugu? I am bilingual." The line plays well in context — direct and impactful. However, trouble stirred in the Tamil-dubbed version of the film.
