Narayana Murthy, who is the co-founder of Infosys, has played an important role in shaping India's largest software company. As per a report by India.com, the real-time net worth of Infosys as of April 17, 2025, stood at US Dollar 4.4 million. It was at the CNBC Global Leadership Summit, where Murthy spoke about having a 70-hour work week for the economic boom of the nation.

A report by Forbes has also revealed that the regular 22 per cent dividend of the company is not just amazing news for its shareholders. It has also given a promotion to the group members for a while, who would be gaining after the phenomenal financial results of the company from the March quarter.

Now, on the other hand, it is interesting to note that Narayana Murthy's daughter, Akshata, who is the daughter of the co-founder of Infosys, reportedly will receive Rs. 85.71 crore, which will be the payout of the company. The company's latest dividend announcement spoke about the big pay day, and it seems Narayana Murthy's grandson, Ekagrah Rohan Murty, is the lucky charm. As of December 2024, Akshata had Rs. 3.89 lakh shares in Infosys, representing a 1.04% stake in the company.

The grandson of Narayana Murthy, Ekagrah Rohan Murty, who will be around 2 years old in 2025, will get Rs. 3.3 crore in dividends from his grandfather, Narayana Murthy's company, Infosys. The little child is already the owner of Rs. 15 lakh shares and also has 0.04% stakes in the company. When Ekagrah was born in 2023 in the Murthy household, it brought a lot of joy, and his birth proved to be a lucky charm too for the company. For the unversed, in Sanskrit, Ekagrah meant the one who has focus, determination, like Arjun, who was the epic archer from the Hindu mythological tale, the Mahabharat.

A report by India.com also made an interesting revelation that when Ekagrah was barely four months old, his grandfather, Narayana Murthy, gave him a gift of Rs. 15 lakh shares from Infosys. Ekagrah is the son of Narayana Murthy's son, Rohan Murthy and Aparna Krishnan and reportedly is one of the youngest billionaires. It was in March 2024, when the shares mentioned were around Rs. 240 crores.

Reportedly, Infosys has locked May 30, 2025, as the date to determine the shareholders that would be eligible for the final year dividend. The company also shared that the dividend would be paid on June 30, 2025, as the filing exchanges have been made on April 17, 2025. It is worth mentioning that little Ekagrah, who is not even 2 years of age, would be earning Rs. 3.3 crore at the mere age of 1.5 years. He would be getting a huge amount from the dividend of Infosys.

For the unversed, Infosys had made a final dividend of Rs. 22 per equity share for the financial year of 2025. Now, May 30, 2025, has been officially set as the date for the payment of dividends along with the Annual General Meeting. Ekagrah is a rich baby as he already is a holder of Rs. 15,00,000 shares in Insosys, which makes up 0.04 per cent of the stake. Reportedly, the shares were given to the child when he was barely four months old. At that time, the value of the same was Rs. 240 crore.

A report by the Mint also shared that Akshata is the owner of a 1.04% stake in Infosys, which comes down to Rs. 3.89 lakh shares in the company as per the December 2024 quarter. Narayana himself would be earning Rs. 33.3 crore in dividends, while his wife, Sudha, will get Rs. 76 crore. The IT giant reportedly also has a net profit of Rs. 7,033 crore that saw a 11.7% decline in the quarter of March. It had also created a profit of Rs. 7,969 crore; however, it has exceeded this in the current fiscal year.
