When Natasa Stankovic Recalled Meeting Hardik Pandya For First Time At Nightclub, 'I Hadn't Seen...'

After four years of marriage, Indian cricketer, Hardik Pandya and Serbian model-turned-actress, Natasa Stankovic parted ways. The former couple shared a note on their respective Instagram accounts to announce that they had mutually decided to call it quits. While there are still no clarifications on why Hardik and Natasa decided to end their marriage, there was a time when the latter talked about how she met the cricketer for the first time.

When Natasa Stankovic recalled meeting Hardik Pandya for the first time

Hardik and Natasa got married in an intimate ceremony in 2020 owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Three years after their marriage, the couple once again exchanged vows in a grand ceremony, following both their cultural traditions. In their wedding video, Natasa recalled how she met Hardik for the very first time at a nightclub.

The Serbian model revealed that she went out with a few of her friends, one of whom was an acquaintance of Hardik as well. She further reminisced the moment the cricketer walked into the club wearing a hat and some blingy outfit. Sharing how she was mesmerised with his persona, Natasa said:

"I went out with a few of my friends and there was also a friend of mine who apparently was also HP’s friend. Then he walks in a hat, some kind of a shawl and blingy-blingy everywhere. In so many years in India, I had not seen such a person, such a persona. I was like, ‘What is this?’ ‘Who is this?’"

Further in the confessional, Natasa added that as she was about to approach the cricketer for a handshake, as she was meeting him for the very first time. However, Hardik went straight for a hug. She shared that the cricketer has always been very friendly. For the unversed, the couple met at a nightclub, and it was love at first sight for the cricketer. Natasa added:

"You know when you’re meeting someone for the first time, I was going for the hand, and he came for a hug. Don’t know the name, nothing, he was just very friendly, that’s how we met for the first time."

When Hardik and Natasa hinted at their separation

For quite some time now, there have been speculations that Hardik and Natasa's marriage had hit rock bottom and that the couple was headed for a divorce. These started when the latter removed the cricketer's surname from her IG bio. She also refrained from congratulating the men in blue when they made history by winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

On July 18, 2024, they put an end to all the rumours and confirmed that they had decided to part ways. Revealing that this was a tough decision for both of them, they shared that their son, Agastya, whom they welcomed in 2020, would remain at the centre of both their lives, and they would co-parent him.
