Chaudhry Aslam's Wife, Naureen Reviews Aditya Dhar's Film, 'Dhurandhar 2', '..Exactly What Happened'

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun and more has been generating a lot of buzz on social media. For the unversed, the film that released on March 19, 2026, continued the story of 'Hamza' as an Indian spy agent. Well now, late police officer, Chaudhry Aslam Khan's real-life wife, Naureen has come forward and praised Sanjay Dutt's strong and realistic portrayal in Aditya Dhar's movie. 

Naureen Chaudhry appreciates Sanjay Dutt in Dhurandhar

Recently, Chaudhry Aslam Khan’s wife, Naureen came forward and appeared on the podcast with Aaj Tak’s Arvind Ojha, during which she appreciated the blockbuster movie, Dhurandhar: The Revenge and revealed that the makers showed the exact thing that happened with her and her husband in real-life. Naureen was quoted as saying:

"The way they have shown it....that is exactly what happened."

During the same conversation, Naureen Chaudhry also recalled the final moments with her husband, Chaudhry Aslam Khan before the blast. Naureen explained that on the day of the attack, she had just returned from the hospital, when she saw her husband getting ready to leave. She revealed that she tried to stop him but he didn’t listen. Further, Naureen recalled Chaudhry Aslam Khan’s last words and shared:

"I had just returned home from the hospital and saw that he was getting ready to leave. I tried to stop him because he didn’t have a bomb-proof vehicle, but he reassured me. He said, ‘Forgive me, I could never give you time'. He said he wanted us to meet somewhere else due to security concerns. There was a massive blast. A car carrying around 125 kg of explosives rammed into his vehicle in a suicide attack. Even before any confirmation came, my heart knew he was gone."

Naureen Chaudhry further spoke about the intense rivalry between Chaudhry Aslam Khan and Rehman Dakait. As shown in the movie, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Chaudhry Aslam Khan, played by Sanjay Dutt and Rehman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna are rivals, who wish to kill each other. Talking about the same, Naureen revealed:

"Rehman himself had admitted that Chaudhry Aslam was a threat to him. He told me to pray for him. I said, within 14 days, Rehman would fall- and it happened. They traced him through a phone call. There was heavy firing, and Rehman was injured. People tried to take away his body, but Chaudhry ensured it was sent for post-mortem."

Talking about the movie, Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar was the biggest film of 2025 and 2026. For the unversed, the film was originally released in December 2025 and generated a lot of buzz on social media. Later, in March 2026, the sequel of the blockbuster film was released. It is worth mentioning the film revolves around an Indian spy, who entered one of Pakistan's deadliest gangs to finish them. 

The movie features Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Danish Podar, Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt and more. The sequel of the film also added a small yet impactful cameo by Aditya Dhar’s wife, Yami Gautam. Talking about the box office success, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has broken records of movies like Baahubali. Reportedly, the movie has collected over Rs. 1435 crore in only 13 days.
