Navya Naveli Nanda is one of the most sought-after star-kids of her generation. Granddaughter of talented actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, the young lady hasn’t forayed into showbiz. Instead, she followed the footsteps of her father, Nikhil Nanda and grandfather, Rajan Nanda and established herself as an independent entrepreneur. Moreover, she has also taken part in her family business, the Escort’s Group.
Taking to her IG handle, Navya Nanda dropped a bunch of pictures from her recent visit to her father’s tractor making factory in Madhya Pradesh. However, what grabbed our attention that the doting daughter shared some rather rare pictures with her father, Nikhil Nanda, as the two of them toured together to look over the agricultural unit of their family business, the Escorts Group. While in one frame, the father-daughter duo seemed to be engaged in candid conversations, in another, Navya could be seen getting a pagdi tied over her head.

In an earlier interview on CNBC TV 18’s show, Kiska Brand Bajega, Navya Nanda opened up about why she selected business as her career over moving into films. To this, the entrepreneur explained how growing up, she was surrounded by business-oriented talks by her father and grandfather in Delhi. Adding how she wasn’t surrounded by movie sets in Mumbai, she said:
“I’ve grown up in Delhi, I grew up around my father and my grandfather who are businessmen and industrialists. I think for me that’s what I saw more of growing up as a kid. I wasn’t around sets or films and glamour growing up. It was very much stock markets and my father coming back and talking to me about tractors, which is what we do. That for me is where the passion lies.”
Previously, while speaking to Mashable India, Navya Nanda shared her experiences of starting her own business at the age of 21. Acknowledging her privileged background, she stated that she has been fortunate to have supporting parents, who had her back financially to set up her own business. Moreover, Navya claimed that she was an ambitious person and creating her own identity has been very important for her.

In another interview with a leading daily, Navya Nanda talked about her dynamics with her grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan. The starlet revealed that while she has learnt a lot of things from him, she too, on the other hand, has taught him a few Gen-Z things. Talking about those, Navya said:
“I can’t think of anybody else who has continued to recreate and reinvent themselves the way he has. I don’t think anyone will ever be able to reach the level of excellence that he has reached in his life. I have introduced him to a lot of things that young people are into. For instance, music, social media, TV shows etc. He also strongly feels about the causes that I am working for and believes in the message of gender equality, too.”
