Navya Nanda has created a name for herself in the age of social media. The young entrepreneur, who is the granddaughter of talented actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan, has stayed miles away from the glitz and glam of the showbiz world. Instead, she has mightily cemented her name as the founder of her own NGO. Moreover, she has also created a stir on the internet with countless brand endorsements, social media influencing and much recently, her interactive podcast, What The Hell Navya.
In a recent interaction on the show, Kiska Brand Bajega Season 4, Navya Nanda heaped praises on her grandmother, Jaya Bachchan and claimed that she is the true epitome of star on the former’s podcast, What The Hell Navya. She revealed that Jaya has become a topic of the current, Gen-Z memes. Moreover, Navya remarked that her grandmother has become more amicable towards the paparazzi, and even enjoys interactions with them. In her words:

“Nani is unanimously the star of the show. The feedback has been all around her and everyone just loves her. They love how unapologetically vocal she is and she is the main star of What The Hell Navya. Jaya-ing has become a pop culture phenomenon now. The paps and nani are having fun now. When the cameras are off, they’re sweet to each other and have a little chat. They’re friends now.”

Moving forward in the conversation, Navya Nanda talked about his grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan. The doting granddaughter commended his nana for being of the most unparalleled stature, having adapted to various generations. Moreover, she also revealed the one thing that she has taught her grandfather, pertaining to the new generation trends. She said:
“I can’t think of anybody else who has continued to recreate and reinvent themselves the way he has. I don’t think anyone will ever be able to reach the level of excellence that he has reached in his life. I have introduced him to a lot of things that young people are into. For instance, music, social media, TV shows etc. He also strongly feels about the causes that I am working for and believes in the message of gender equality, too.”
Earlier, while speaking to the Hindustan Times, Navya Nanda opened up about having disagreements with her grandmother, Jaya Bachchan and mother, Shweta Bachchan, owing to them belonging to different generations. The star-daughter remarked that while their fights are natural since they have distinct opinions, nevertheless, these are the very aspect their relationship that keep it exciting.

Previously, in one of her interactions with Mashable India, Navya Nanda revealed a startling fact about herself, where she claimed that people get shocked to hear her speak fluently in Hindi. The young lady remarked that although such a thing makes her get annoyed, nevertheless, she finds it quite the bare minimum requirement for a person to know their national language. In her words:
“It is a little annoying because people get shocked when I talk in Hindi. They ask me, ‘Oh you know Hindi?!’ This is a very basic thing, that you must know your language, I don’t know why people get shocked.”
