The source of entertainment and joy during the pandemic was social media as celebrities had spread happiness through their posts. Some, who were already on social media, had treated their fans with lovely glimpses of their quarantined life. Some, delighted their fans with their debut or making their profile public. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan's granddaughter, and Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Nikhil Nanda's daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, belongs to the latter category as she made her IG account public in 2020, giving glimpses of her personal life on social media. From wishing her family and friends on their birthdays and anniversaries to sharing glimpses of the celebrations on special occasions, Navya's profile is a sheer delight for the Bachchan-Nanda fans.

To mark Mother's Day 2021, Navya Naveli Nanda posted two throwback pictures with her mommy, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, proving that there's always a 'win' in twinning. The first throwback picture of Shweta and Navya was from former's brother, Abhishek Bachchan's wedding with Aishwarya Rai in 2007. Shweta and Navya had twinned in white saree with a golden border for the wedding. Atop the picture, Navya wrote, "Maa – not a word, but a feeling." Sharing another throwback picture, in which Shweta held Navya in her arms, the doting daughter added a smiling emoticon atop it. In the second one too, Shweta and Navya twinned in white.
To mark 33 years of their brand, AJSK in 2019, the designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla had taken us on a trip down the memory lane with some unseen pictures from Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai's wedding album. Revealing how, just like Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Abhishek’s wedding too had the pristine perfection of white at the heart of its theme, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla had said, "2007: Like Shweta's big day, Abhishek's wedding too had the pristine perfection of white at the heart of its theme! The entire Bachchan family wore Vasli for the nuptials, their meticulously handcrafted ensembles being an ode to unsurpassed elegance. Majestic embroideries in silver and gold Vasli as well as resham lent regal grace and divine auspiciousness to the understated ivory, off-white and beige palette. @amitabhbachchan @shwetabachchan @naavyananda #33YearsOfAJSK."

Speaking about the influence of growing up around working women in the family, Navya Naveli Nanda, in an interview with the Vogue, had stated, "I want to use the resources, people, privilege and platforms that I have to spread awareness and bring change. Studying abroad, I found the women there far more emancipated. I want women in India to feel the same way, to be given similar opportunities. I want them to be masters of their own destiny and take charge of their own lives. I've grown up around working women in my family—it's all I've known. To bring that change, you have to start with education and financial independence. That's where Project Naveli comes in."
When Navya Naveli Nanda had shared a post, dedicated to her Vogue interview, where she was quoted about the influence of 'working women' on her and growing up around such strong ladies in her family, a netizen had dropped a comment, "What work does her mother do? LOL." To which, Navya had replied, "@tarakaursingh2 She's an author, writer, designer, wife & mother" followed by a smiley face emoticon. Sharing a screenshot of the comment, Navya had written on her IG story, "Being a mother and a wife is a full-time job. Please don't discredit women who are homemakers. Their role is so crucial in the upbringing of a generation that will hopefully support their contribution instead of tearing it down."
