Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of superstar, Amitabh Bachchan, has started her new journey as she joined Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for a two-year Blended Post Graduate Programme MBA. Navya announced the good news with an Instagram post. Still, social media stirred controversy, and netizens mocked and questioned the legitimacy of the program and speculated about how she got admission. However, the star kid is keeping her calm and enjoying the new journey.
Ever since, Navya has shared her happiness and excitement about starting her college life on the campus of IIM Ahmedabad. People have been questioning how she got admitted. Some have even called it not a 'real MBA'. Few have even credited Navya's celebrity lineage as the criteria for qualifying and getting admitted into the MBA program.
Now, Promila Agarwal, an associate professor at IIM Ahmedabad, came in support of Navya and addressed the query regarding the legitimacy of her admission. Taking to X, Promila clarified that Navya got a solid CV (curriculum vitae). She even answered the question of whether Navya got a 99.9 percentline in the CAT and shared that the exam is not necessary in securing admission.
Promila also took a playful dig at Navya, and added that she is looking forward to seeing her post cribbing about the hard life in IIM Ahmedabad. Her post can be read as:
"She got a solid CV btw (by the way). You don't necessarily need CAT. Irrespective, hats off to everyone for being courageous enough to sign up for a rigorous program. PS: Just like other students, looking forward to her posts cribbing abt hard life at IIM-A."
Navya Naveli Nanda avoids trolls and people harassing her on social media. However, it seems like this time, netizens questioning her admission to the IIM-A left her disappointed. In her own unique way, Navya gave a subtle reply to the trollers. Taking to her IG stories, Navya shared a picture of her cutting a cake and celebrating her momentous day. She also thanked the sir, who had coached her to crack the entrance.

Talking about Navya's academic background, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Digital Technology and UX Design from Fordham University in the USA in 2020. She is also an entrepreneur and runs her own Non Profit Organisation, Project Naveli. Not only this, Navya Naveli Nanda is actively involved in her father's family business.
