The lady superstar of South Indian films, Nayanthara tied the knot with the love of his life, Vignesh Shivan in an intimate ceremony on June 9, 2022. And four months after their wedding, the madly-in-love couple surprised their massive fanbase when they announced the arrival of their twins. They were blessed with two sons, Uyir and Ulagam, via surrogacy. Since then, they never miss a chance to spend quality time with their sons. Taking to his IG handle on June 18, 2023, Vignesh Shivan gave a sneak peek into his Father's Day celebration with his twins, Uyir and Ulagam. In the picture, we can spot the baby boys twinning in green-hued ensembles while riding in their loving daddy's arms. The moments were indeed priceless, and the entire place was decorated with colourful balloons and gift hampers. Along with it, Vignesh penned a lovely note which can be read as:
"Life is beautiful. Happy Father’s Day to all of us !! The most unsung yet real heroes."

Taking to his IG handle on May 15, 2023, Vignesh posted a few unseen pictures of his wife, Nayanthara from the day their twin boys were born. In the pictures, Nayanthara was seen getting emotional while holding the newborns in her arms. The baby was seen touching Nayanthara’s face, and it looked blissful. The loving husband also posted a few silhouette pictures of Nayanthara with her sons. In the pictures, Nayanthara held her boys close to her while enjoying the serene view from her window. Along with the surreal pictures, Vignesh wrote a long note for the actress, which could be read as:
“Dear Nayan … you are a 10 on 10 as a Mother too immense love and power to you my thangamey! Your first Mother’s Day. A Dream come true for us. Thanking God and all the goodness in this world for blessing us with the best blessed babies. My Uyir & Ulag with my UyirUlag.”
For the unversed, after seven years of togetherness, Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara took their wedding vows at Sheraton Grand in Mahabalipuram as per South Indian wedding rituals. Thus, on June 9, 2023, they completed one year of marital bliss. To mark the day, Vignesh penned a heartfelt wish for Nayanthara and posted an array of pictures of her with their twins, Uyir and Ulagam. In the pictures, the baby boys were seen clinging to their mom, Nayanthara as she carried them with love. Along with the pictures, Vignesh wrote:
“En uyiroda Aadharam neengaldhaneyyy 1 year filled with a lotta moments! Lotta Ups and downs. Unexpected setbacks! Testing times! But coming home to see a blessed family with immense love and affection reinstates soo much confidence and gives all the energy to keep running towards all the dreams and goals already manifested! The strength given by the family makes all the difference! blessed with the best of people striving to give them a good life is all the motivation that’s needed for hustlers like me. On October 9, 2023, Vignesh and Nayanthara announced the arrival of their twins, Uyir and Ulagam, via surrogacy. And to delight their fans with the first glimpse of the baby boys, the director had taken to his Twitter handle and shared some cute sneak peeks of the little ones with their parents. In the pictures, the duo was seen kissing and giving a peck of love to their newborns' tiny feet. Along with it, Vignesh also revealed the names of his baby boys as Uyir and Ulagam.
