Nayanthara is one of the much-loved actresses in the entertainment world. With a career spanning over two decades, she has acted in 75 movies. She made her debut with the Malayalam film, Manassinakkare, and went on to work on movies of several languages. Recently, Netflix just dropped the highly awaited trailer for the documentary on ‘Lady Superstar’, Nayanthara’s life story, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale. Now, the documentary is in trouble as the actor and producer, Dhanush, sued her for Rs. 10 crore.
Vignesh has always been very vocal about his love for Nayanthara and fiercely supported her. Recently, Dhanush sent the actress and her documentary team a legal notice of Rs. 10 crores for using a three-second behind-the-scenes clip from their film, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which Dhanush produced.

Now, taking to his Instagram account, Vignesh shared a clip from the audio launch of the 2017 film, Sakka Podu Podu Raja, which featured music by Silambarasan. At the event, Dhanush addressed his long-term rivalry with the music composer and gave a speech about celebrating creative collaborations rather than indulging in fan wars. In Dhanush's words:
"The love we have for one should turn into hate for another. If it changes, there is no meaning for that emotion. The world is going towards a pathetic condition. There is so much negativity. Nobody likes it if another person is doing good in life. Live and let live. Nobody should hate another person. If you like somebody, celebrate with them. If you don’t like somebody, just move on."
Sharing the video on his Instagram, Vignesh shared a screenshot of the legal notice and called out Dhanush's bluff. He further taunted Dhanush to be the man he preached to be in front of his fans. Vignesh further wrote:
"Vaazhu Vaazha udu #spreadLove #OmNamaShivaya at-least for the sake of some innocent die hard fans who believe all of this ! I sincerely pray to God ! For People to change and find happiness in other people’s happiness."
The highly anticipated documentary on Nayanthara is all set to debut on Netflix in the coming week. It promises to provide a fascinating peek into her personal life, her evolution as an actor, and the challenges she overcame to earn the title of the 'lady superstar'.
