Ned Fulmer was part of the Try Guys YouTube channel, started by four people known for their wholesome friendship and humorous moments while trying out new things on camera for entertainment purposes. All four members had distinctive personalities, and Ned was known as the perfect family man, always talking about his wife. However, in 2022, the fans of Try Guys got the biggest shock when the 'wife guy' was caught cheating with an employee. After three years, Ned Fulmer has finally addressed his cheating scandal and discussed his new chapter in life.
After being caught having an affair with a Try Guys employee, Ned, who was the co-founder of the channel, not only left the public eye but was also erased from the channel. However, after three years, Ned feels ready to move on to the next chapter in his life, he shared in an interview with People. Ned stated that, given his reputation as the 'Wife guy', the scandal became huge and was also picked up by SNL for a comedy sketch. In the first interview since the cheating scandal, Ned shared:
“I understand that’s why it was such a big scandal—because it’s ironic and it feels like a rug pull to people. That must have been really painful and devastating to viewers.”
Ned Fulmer also answered the question that has been on everyone's mind since the scandal- whether his wife, Ariel, is still with him or not. In the interview, Ned said that his marriage with Ariel was stronger than ever after they went for couples therapy and he came clean to her about his actions. He also expressed remorse at the pain he had caused his wife and shared:
"That was most devastating to work through and to realize—how much pain I had caused her. If I were looking at a past version of myself, how I’d really want to change the way I’d been interacting with her.”
In the interview, Ned Fulmer also announced his new podcast, Rock Bottom. And the first guest will be none other than his wife, Ariel. The former Try Guys co-founder said that his podcast will feature people who are trying to recover from their lowest moments in life. He wants to explore 'what happens next' after a person does something that they think is a subject to be ashamed about. The first episode of the podcast will drop on September 17, 2025 and will feature an open and 'brutal' conversation with Ariel Fulmer. Ned said in the interview:
“The conversation was so brutal at times that we wanted to get up and walk out of the room. It’s one thing to talk about in a therapy setting. It’s a really hard thing to have that conversation in such a way where you know people are watching it. But once we watched the full episode, it was something we were really proud of.”
