Legendary actors, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor's journey of togetherness had ended in 2020, but their love for each other is immortal. The duo had gotten married in 1980. Together, they were blessed with two kids, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor. They were living a merry life. However, Rishi had to leave for the heavenly abode after a two-year battle with cancer, leaving his loved ones behind. Since then, his wife and kids have treasured him in their hearts forever.
On January 22, 2021, Neetu Kapoor had taken to her IG handle and posted a video with Rishi Kapoor to mark what would have been their 41st wedding anniversary. Neetu's video consisted of their beautiful memories both off-and on-screen. Along with the video, Mrs Kapoor had added the song, Hum Hain Is Pal Yahan from the film, Kisna: The Warrior Poet and had captioned the post as:

“Justtt. Would have been our 41 years today.”

A few moments back, Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and shared a monochrome picture from her engagement with her late husband, Rishi Kapoor. In the picture, Neetu and Rishi were seen in a sitting pose as they were exchanging rings. The picture spoke volumes about Mr and Mrs Kapoor's love for each other. Along with the picture, Neetu revealed her engagement date and captioned the picture as:
"Fond memories of baisakhi day as we got engaged 43 years back on 13th April 1979."
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Neetu Kapoor had revealed how the demise of her loving life partner, Rishi Kapoor, has made her hopeless about life. She had mentioned that after losing him, she was lost and did not know how to recover. Talking about the same, she had said:
"My husband was a full-time job. I didn't know where would my life go now. If I had not taken this step (to start work) I don't know if I'd have recovered. I was the most unsocial person, I wouldn't go anywhere, my husband, my kids, my house were my life. But after he passed away I started socialising, meeting people, I am doing a movie, a show. I am not thinking, I want to be busy. I like being happy in life, I don't like sadness. I run away from sadness. Today I am feeling much better."

Currently, speculations about Neetu and Rishi's son, Ranbir Kapoor's wedding with Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt is rife in the media. A few days ago, while scrolling through our feeds, we had stumbled upon a picture of Neetu and Rishi's reception invite. In the invite, we could see the RK Studios logo at the top, revealing that the grand affair had taken place on January 23, 1980. The invitation card could be read as:
"Mr and Mrs Raj Kapoor request the pleasure of your company on the auspicious occasion of the marriage reception of their son Rishi (Grandson of Late Mr and Mrs Prithviraj Kapoor) with Neetu (Daughter of Mrs Rajee Singh)."
We are indeed nostalgic upon seeing Neetu and Rishi's engagement picture. What about you?
