Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently leading the Hindi film industry, and people adore them. The duo has time and again proved their mettle of acting with their power-packed performances in many movies. During the Filmfare Awards 2024, Ranbir grabbed the prestigious award for Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male) for his performance in the film, Animal, whereas Alia was honoured with the title of Best Actress In A Leading Role (Female) for her role in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
As Alia and Ranbir stole the limelight at the Filmfare Awards, Neetu Kapoor beamed with joy. On January 29, 2024, the veteran actress took to her IG handle and shared two captivating photos of Alia and Ranbir. The first one was from the recent award function while the other was from the same award show in 2019. In both photos, the duo happily posed for the lens on the stage while holding the award in their hands.

Alongside the pictures, Neetu Kapoor penned a note and revealed that she secretly prayed and wished for a repeat of 2019, when Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were honoured for their respective performances in Sanju and Raazi. Expressing her joy at witnessing the moment, Neetu wrote:
"I secretly prayed n wished a repeat of 2019 (Sanju raazi) so happy it happened again !!! Congratulations both of you, proud very very proud."
As soon as Neetu Kapoor shared the post, netizens flooded the comment section with their reactions. They claimed that Alia and Ranbir paid for the award as they didn't deserve to be the winner. Reacting to it, a user penned, "Paid awards rahe to apko secretly pray karne ki kya zurat hai mam. Bas secretly cheque bhijwane hote hai." Another commented, "Your husband confessed to buying awards. Enough said!"

A few days back, Neetu Kapoor shared the first announcement poster of the movie, Love & War on her IG handle. The film will be released on Christmas 2025 and stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. For the unversed, the movie will mark the reunion of Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali after a 17-year-long hiatus. Hyping Raha's parents up for the project, Neetu penned:
"LOVE & WAR! Raha's parents, you both make me so proud with my all-time favourite filmmaker #SANJAYLEELABHANSALI. Can't wait to see your magic #VickyKaushal."
During the fun rapid-fire session on KWK8, Karan Johar asked Neetu Kapoor to reveal one thing from her marriage to Rishi Kapoor that she wants Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor to adopt from them. Without mincing her words, the actress quipped, “Nothing.” However, she further explained the reason behind the same and said that in today’s age, one should do what they want and just be happy. In her words:
“Because aajkal k zamaaney me jo karna hai karo, bas khush raho. And also, every generation is different. What I went through, I can’t expect them to do the same thing. So, they know their own vibe.”
