MTV Roadies XX is all about unexpected twists, turns, controversies and drama. The viewers were waiting for the drama to come around when the 'all so good' streak took a turn. However, it was only a matter of time for things to explode with betrayal lurking around every corner.
The adventure reality show, MTV Roadies is back with its 20th season on January 11, 2025. With drama on a new high and double the heated exchange, the episodes of Roadies Double Cross have once again had the viewers hooked. From contestants trying their best to impress the gang leaders to verbal altercation, the show has sustained its originality even after being around for twenty whole seasons. However, things really got firey when in a recent episode, the two queens of Roadies and gang leaders, Rhea Chakraborty and Neha Dhupia got into a heated conversation.
For the unversed, it was during a task selection process, Rhea refered to Neha with a colloquial term in a light-hearted manner. She was heard calling Neha, 'Badi kamini hai ye toh' during an episode. Nonetheless, the latter was taken aback by the comment and promptly told Rhea to "Watch her mouth". Her tone and expressions clearly signalling her disapproval of the comment. However, the exchange turned the heat up, with the tension being palpable. The turn of events highlighted the competitive and unpredictable nature of the show, keeping viewers on the tip of their toes.
It wasn't the first time the first time where the viewers got to witness such heated reactions from gang leaders. Previously, Neha Dhupia had made the headlines for her powerful statement, "It's her choice," during an audition. For the unversed the contestant was slammed by Neha for slapping his girlfriend. The contestant had done so because his partner had cheated on him with five other men.
The statement had caused a widespread dicussion, with some slamming the actress for indirectly promoting adultery. The trolling reached a point where Neha Dhupia had to take to her social media and clarify herself. In the statement she had revealed that she "took a stand against violence" and that "adultery is a moral choice and moral choice is always ambiguous."
