On January 5, 2020, Nehha Pendse had tied the knot with her fiancé, Shardul Singh Bayas. The lovebirds were pronounced husband and wife as per Maharashtrian rituals and we still can’t get over how ethereal they had looked. Nehha had looked graceful as ever in a pastel-pink Nauvari saree and had accentuated her look with hair tied in a bun, adorned with flowers, pearl and jadau jewellery, a crescent moon bindi, a traditional nath and green bangles. Shardul had complemented his bride in an off-white and pink-coloured sherwani and a matching safa.

In an interview with The Times of India, Nehha Pendse was asked how is she coping up with the quarantine period, she had retorted, “Decluttering my wardrobes, kitchen, playing board games and chewing my husband’s head.” Nehha and Shardul had celebrated their first Valentine’s Day this year as husband and wife, and sharing the glimpses of the same, she had written, “Believe u me ... this is my first ever Valentine’s date.. have longed forever to celebrate this day of love !! @shardulbayas you are the answer to the endless prayers to my almighty .. Nehha Pendse’s pre-wedding functions had begun with the ‘grahmukh puja’ and the then-soon-to-be bride had taken to her Instagram to share the glimpses. Dressed in traditional Marathi attire, Neha had looked resplendent in a beige and red-coloured saree with a pearl mundavlya on her forehead. For the sangeet ceremony, Nehha and Shardul had colour-coordinated in multi-coloured ensembles. And for their engagement, Neha had looked stunning in a green gown while her fiancé, Shardul complemented her in a suit.
In a post-wedding interview with the SpotboyE, Nehha Pendse had revealed that her husband, Shardul Singh Bayas had his own share of ups and downs in his previous relationships. She had stated, "Yes, Shardul has had 2 marriages and has two lovely daughters, one each from his previous shaadis. As I told you yesterday, he hadn't hidden anything from me. I knew about it, much before I got married to him. And think of it, so what if he had married twice before he married me? Life doesn't stop. Shardul does the balancing act very well. It's all very positive."
Post that, Nehha Pendse’s husband, Shardul Singh Bayas was flooded with negative comments and trolls for being married twice. Addressing the same, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Nehha had reacted to the question, “What’s the big deal about this?” and had retorted, “Today, many of us are getting married late because of various reasons, including the focus on career. A lot of people end up having more than one relationship before finally tying the knot. The commitment, love and physical proximity could be the same as it is in a marriage, the only difference is that there is no legal stamp over it. So, why are people talking about Shardul being a divorcee?”
Sharing that they both have accepted each other’s past wholeheartedly, Nehha Pendse had stated, “I knew that this would come up at some point and was open to talking about it. Shardul and I have accepted each other’s past wholeheartedly, so there is no fear of talking about it. As I had mentioned in my previous interview to BT, we would hardly have romantic conversations during the initial months of our relationship; there was a lot of talking, but about our lives. Both of us are damaged and hence, careful and sensitive about our relationship.” (Also Read: Raj Kummar Rao And Co-Chef, Patralekhaa Show Off Culinary Skills And Cook Quarantine Lunch Together)
