The epic tale of Kurukshetra has always been more than just a story of kings and war. It is a story of human nature and choices that shape the world. This epic tale has been retold multiple times in the Indian cinema and the most recent one was by Netflix's Kurukshetra, which tells the story of the war from the eyes of 18 warriors. Since the release of Kurukshetra: Part 1, fans have been waiting for Part 2. Well, the wait is over as Part 2 is out on Netflix. Read on to know if Kurukshetra: Part 2 is worth watching or not.
Kurukshetra: Part 1 was released on October 10, 2025, and it introduced important characters, their backstories, loyalties and the first few days of the battle. Part 1 focused on each warrior's fear, pride and duty. Kurukshetra: Part 2, which dropped on October 24, 2025, picked up from where Part 1 ended and showed the last 4 days of the brutal war.

Part 2 featured confrontations involving 'Duryodhana', 'Karna', 'Bhima', and 'Arjuna', and the revenge of 'Ashwatthama'. It also shows 'Krishna' in a different light. Unlike most re-tellings, in which 'Krishna' is shown as flawless, this series showed his pain, loyalty and strategic mind, but it also holds him accountable for his cruelty.

The biggest plus point of the Netflix show was the way the makers portrayed important moments. For example, the end of 'Duryodhana' is shown as tragic and violent. Even though, the show makes it clear that his choices brought his end, it is shown in a painful manner. Apart from this, the revenge of 'Ashwatthama' is shown as dark and terrible. The harsh punishment he receives at the end is portrayed as a divine consequence.

One of the major highlights of Kurukshetra: Part 2 is its stunning visuals. While, viewers found the visuals uneven in the first part, this time the show beautifully chose the perfect frame and colours to make the battles and quiet moments feel like moving paintings. Some viewers also compared it to high-end animated cinema. Another major highlight was the powerful plot and complex portrayal of characters. The show presented characters in a mature way, which captured the attention. Apart from this, the soundtrack added a layer to the plot.
