'Saiyaara' Fame, Aneet Padda Makes Ramp Debut At Lakme Fashion Week 2025, Internet Is Disappointed

After winning hearts with the blockbuster YRF film, Saiyaara, Aneet Padda is once again in the spotlight, but this time not for her acting. Recently, Aneet Padda made her debut at the Lakmé Fashion Week 2025 Grand Finale. She walked as the showstopper for designer, Tarun Tahiliani. But it looks like Aneet, who managed to win hearts with her acting, couldn't impress the audience with her ramp walk. 

Aneet Padda’s glamorous look for Lakmé Fashion Week 2025

Recently, Aneet Padda made a gorgeous appearance at the Lakmé Fashion Week 2025 Grand Finale, in New Delhi. The event took place on October 12, 2025, in which Aneet walked as the showstopper for veteran designer, Tarun Tahiliani. The designer gave the Saiyaara actress a modern look with a classic gold saree with bejewelled drapes. 

The outfit featured dense metallic sequins and fine crystal embellishments, giving the saree a rich and jewellery-like finish. Aneet completed her look with perfect makeup including dewy skin, softly defined eyes, and a neutral, glowing lip. She left her hair open with soft and beachy waves. What made her look even more beautiful was her pretty smile when she faced cameras.

Netizens were disappointed with Aneet Padda’s ramp walk

Despite looking beautiful in Tarun Tahiliani’s outfit, Aneet Padda failed to impress the internet with her walk. A video of her walking the ramp walk at Lakmé Fashion Week 2025 was shared on social media platform, Reddit where many users expressed their disappointment on her walk. While some appreciated her look and outfit, others debated about the need to replace models with Bollywood stars. 

One user commented, "She looks pretty but we all have to agree that the walk was just not it. Why can't the designers leave modelling for the models?" Another user wrote, "Horrible walk tbh. If this was some nepo kid people would’ve been jumping on them." A third user penned, "oh no this was much worse like girl didn’t you ever walk prior to this?" Another user shared, "Why can't the designers hire actual models who are literal professionals."

Aneet Padda is a young Bollywood actress from Amritsar, who completed her studies from Delhi. She started her acting career with a brief role in the film, Salaam Venky and played a lead in Big Girls Don’t Cry, but breakthrough came in Mohit Suri's Saiyaara. In the YRF film, she played the role of 'Vaani', who was an innocent journalist and a talented lyricist. After Saiyaara, Aneet Padda hasn't confirmed any upcoming project, but there are rumours that she has replaced Kiara Advani in a Maddock Films horror-comedy, Shakti Shalini. Apart from her professional life, her personal life has also grabbed attention as she is rumoured to be dating her Saiyaara co-star, Ahaan Panday. Weeks ago, a source close to them had confirmed that the two are dating each other but want to keep things private.
