Mouni Roy Wears Bengali 'Shankha Pola' And Malayali Gold 'Kadha' For Her Casual Outing Post-Wedding

Mouni Roy had tied the knot with Suraj Nambiar on January 27, 2022, in Goa as per Malayali and Bengali traditions to pay tribute to each other’s traditions and customs. Their pictures and videos had gone viral over the internet and the actress, too, has been sharing glimpses from the biggest day of her life on her IG handle. As Mouni’s wedding festivities are over, the actress was spotted in the city, and her shankha pola and gold kadha talked about how much she values her and her husband's traditions.

A day after her wedding, on January 28, 2022, Mouni Roy was spotted enjoying her post-wedding bash with her friends and family. The new bride had worn a jazzy green bralette-style crop top with a matching side-slit skirt. She had left her hair open and had flaunted her sindoor, shankha pola (white and red bangles worn by a Bengali bride) and gold kadha (as per Malayali wedding).

It’s been a week since Mouni Roy’s wedding and the actress has been flaunting her new bride glow wherever she goes. Mouni was spotted in the city looking ethereal in a black and pink floral suit with a short frock kurta and sharara. Her faded mehendi and sindoor added the new bride charm to her look. However, what we love about her look was the way she has been paying tribute to her Bengali traditions with shankha pola and her husband, Suraj Nambiar’s Malayali traditions with gold kadhas.
