Tollywood's power couple, Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni embraced parenthood after twelve years of marital bliss as they got blessed with a baby girl on June 20, 2023. Their little munchkin has brought immense happiness to her family, and she even got a cutesy nickname from her dadu, Chiranjeevi, who fondly calls her Mega Princess. Ever since her birth, Ram and Upasana's baby girl has been receiving love and blessings from the entire nation.
As Upasana got discharged from the hospital on June 23, 2023, she and Ram Charan interacted with the media and thanked their fans for the good wishes. When the newbie daddy was asked who the ‘little mega princess’ resembles, Ram joked and said that his baby girl is a carbon copy of her daddy. He was heard saying:
"Obviously me."

Further, Ram Charan was asked to reveal her newborn baby girl's name, but he refused to do so. However, he mentioned that he would disclose his baby's name on the 21st day from the date of her birth. The actor said in Telugu:
“Thanks to all the fans for their prayers. Forever indebted to the fans and well wishers in India and other countries. As per the tradition, I would reveal her name on 21st day from the date of her birth. I felt same like any other father who holds his baby for the first time. Definitely, she is looking like me."
It was on June 23, 2023, that the newbie parents, Upasana Kamineni and Ram Charan, made their first public appearance with their Mega Princess. In the pictures and videos doing rounds on the internet, we can see the doting parents twinning in white-hued outfits. While Upasana was decked up in a printed maxi dress, Ram opted for a white-coloured shirt and blue jeans. However, their little munchkin was seen wrapped in a white swaddle as her parents held her in their arms and hid her face from the paps.

On June 20, 2023, a picture of a baby was circulated on WhatsApp groups and social media, claiming to be the first-ever leaked picture of Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni's daughter. As Mega Princess has been dominating the headlines ever since her birth, fans were super happy to see the first-ever glimpse of the baby. The picture showed a newborn baby girl sleeping peacefully in a baby cot at the hospital, and it has been claimed that the baby in the picture is from the Konidela family.
However, Ram Charan's digital manager, Siva Cherry cleared the air around the same and revealed the truth behind the viral tweet. Siva tweeted to spill the beans on the picture that is being circulated on the internet and revealed that the picture is not of Ram Charan and Upasana's baby girl, Mega Princess. Siva Cherry's tweet could be read as:
"Pics circulating in social media are not the pics of #MegaPrincess."
