Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot in a royal ceremony on July 12, 2024, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. The big fat wedding, including the pre and post-wedding celebrations along with the huge guestlist of 1400 attendees featuring eminent names from across the globe, is indeed the hot topic of discussion currently. Although the wedding screams luxury from every corner, the groom's fashion statements are also worth decoding.
Anant Ambani opted for not one but two back-to-back looks for his wedding. In a viral glimpse from his wedding, wherein his sister, Isha Ambani and bhabhi, Shloka Mehta, held his hand as Anant walked towards the aisle, he was wearing a red sherwani designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The sherwani featured intricate gold designs in floral patterns all over it. In addition, Anant finished off his look with emerald and diamond buttons, repeated his Panthere De Cartier Brooch worth Rs. 1.3 crore and a necklace featuring pearls and emeralds.

For his wedding day, Anant also wore a huge diamond-studded sarpech (turban ornament) on his red bandhani safa during the safa ceremony and then on a golden-hued one during his lagan rasam. However, we got to know that the sarpech was in reality a kalgi, which symbolises honor, dignity, and the regal status of the groom on his wedding day. The Kalgi featured a centre diamond of 100 carats along with another huge solitaire and a feather at the top. According to The Florida Times-Union, a 100-carat diamond sells for USD 22 million at auction, which in INR equals Rs. 1,83,88,30,400.
Ahead of his lagan ceremony, Anant Ambani was seen posing with his parents, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, for the paps as he entered the wedding venue with his baraat. For the first look at his wedding, the groom opted for a heavily embellished orange-hued sherwani with white pants. Anant's ensemble was from the collection of ace designer duo, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

Apart from the Kalgi worn by him on his wedding day, Anant was also seen flaunting a diamond-studded elephant brooch. It was mainly dedicated to his love for wildlife and his dream project, Vantara. Thus, the elephant-shaped brooch caught our attention. It was studded with minutely cut diamonds along with a round and a pear-shaped solitaire at the front. As per a jewellery blogger, Jia Bhansali, the price of the brooch is Rs. 14 crores.
