Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt embraced parenthood for the first time with the birth of her baby girl, Raha Kapoor on November 6, 2022. Since then, she has been enjoying the motherhood phase to its fullest and glimpses of the same are found on her social media handles. However, she is also taking full care of her body and is all set to resume shooting of her upcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, co-starring Ranveer Singh.
On January 5, 2022, Alia Bhatt took to her IG stories and shared a video of Hollywood actress, Kate Winslet, wherein she was talking about how women in the entertainment industry battle insecurity and abuse. Sharing the video, the newbie mommy also requested her millions of fans to watch the entire video and wrote:
"Word, please watch the full video."
In the video shared by Alia, the Titanic actress, Kate was seen opening up about the abuse she faced from her fans and media when she was gaining weight. The video was taken from an episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast. In the video, the actress mentioned that the immense bullying she had received from some viewers made her deeply insecure and terrified. Explaining the same, Kate was heard saying:
"I would have responded. I would have said, 'Don't you dare treat me like this. I'm a young woman, my body is changing, I'm figuring it out, I'm deeply insecure, I'm terrified, don't make this any harder than it already is. 'That's bullying, you know, and actually borderline abusive', I would say. Even if an actress walks on a red carpet, and happens to look amazing, in whatever she is wearing, the fact that people will say, 'looks honed and toned', or a dreadful word 'svelte', don't even say it! It's such an irresponsible thing to do. It feed directly into young women aspiring to ideas of perfection that don't exist. Aspiring to have bodies that the press is saying we have."

On December 24, 2022, Alia had taken to her IG handle and shared a stunning picture of herself. The picture was captured inside the gym while she was doing her post-partum fitness routine. Alia was seen hanging upside down in the air with the help of a cloth and springs. Along with it, the new mommy was also seen making a namaste gesture. Sharing it, Alia had penned a note talking about body positivity and mentioned:
"One and a half months post-partum, after gradually re-building my connection with my core, and with full guidance from my teacher @anshukayoga I was able to attempt this inversion today. To my fellow mamas, listening to your body post delivery is key. Do NOT do anything your gut tells you not to."
Further, in her note, Alia had mentioned how she is trying to find stability and balance once again after embracing motherhood. Raha's loving mommy also shared that she would never be hard on her body again. She had concluded:
"For the first week or two during my workouts, all I did was breathe… walk… find my stability and balance again (& I still have a long way to go) Take your time - appreciate what your body has done. After what my body did this year I have taken a vow to never be hard on myself again. Childbirth is a miracle in every way, and giving your body that love and support that it gave you is the least we can do. P.S - every body is different - pls speak to your doctor before doing anything that involves exercise."
Well, the newbie mommy, Alia is indeed setting pure goals for all the mommies out there. What do you think?
