It was just two months back on April 14, 2022, when Bollywood's one of the most admired couples, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had given their massive fanbase a sweet surprise by tying the knot with each other in an intimate ceremony. However, on June 27, 2022, they had dropped another big news for their friends, family and fans. The couple is now pregnant.
On June 27, 2022, Alia Bhatt had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful moment from her sonography room, wherein Alia and her hubby, Ranbir could be seen looking at their unborn baby. In another picture, Alia had shared a lion family cuddling with their little cub, hinting at their soon-to-be-born baby. Along with the pictures, she had written:
“Our baby ….. coming soon.”

Alia and Ranbir couldn't enjoy their honeymoon post-wedding as they both had work commitments. However, now reports are rife that the duo will jet off to a dreamy location in the UK to celebrate their babymoon. A close source revealed to Bollywoodlife that after they wrap up their projects, they will soon have a quick getaway for their babymoon. Talking about the same, the source said:
"She will finish her shoot in the first half of July and Ranbir will go to get her back home. But the two haven't had the time to go on a honeymoon due to their packed schedules. But they will head for a quick babymoon before heading back to Mumbai. European countryside is on their mind where they can just relax in each other's company and plan for what lies ahead."
As soon as Alia had announced her pregnancy news, her family members poured their love and blessings over the soon-to-be parents. From Ranbir's mother, Neetu to his sister, Riddhima, Alia's mother, Soni Razdan to her sister, Shaheen and her father, Mahesh, every one of their family shared pictures of the soon-to-be mom and dad and expressed their excitement.

In an interview with ETimes, nana-to-be, Mahesh Bhatt had opened up about the good news and had confirmed his daughter's pregnancy. Talking about adding another feather to his cap by becoming a grandfather, Mahesh had shared:
“Ah, my baby is going to have a baby! I am so happy for Ranbir and Alia. May our ‘tribe’ increase. And now I have to prepare for the most important role of my life: The role of a Grandfather. This is going to be a grand debut.”
