Nicolas Kim Coppola, professionally known as Nicolas Cage, is one of the finest American actors and filmmakers. He had won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award for his stellar performance in the film, Leaving Las Vegas. After winning the Academy Award, Cage had starred in mainstream films like The Rock, Con Air, City of Angels, Lord of War, Ghost Rider and many more. Nicholas was once placed in the category of Premiere’s 100 most powerful people in Hollywood. In 1988, Nicholas Cage had begun dating actress, Christina Fulton, with whom he has a son, Weston Coppola Cage. Nicholas had first gotten married to actress, Patricia Arquette in 1995 but had gotten divorced in 2001. Cage had then gotten married to singer and songwriter, Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley in 2002 and had filed for a divorce 107 days later. Cage’s third wife was Alice Kim, with whom he got married in 2004 and has a son named Kal-El. But the couple had gotten separated in 2016. In March 2019, Cage had tied the knot for the fourth time to Erika Koike, only to file for an annulment four days later. However, the Oscar-winning actor had found love for the fifth time.
Nicholas Cage had gotten married for the fifth time to his girlfriend, Riko Shibata in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas on February 16, 2021. In an official statement to HollywoodLife, the actor confirmed the news about his fifth wedding and said, “It’s true, and we are very happy.” The wedding date was chosen to honour Nicholas’ late father. The wedding was a private affair, with traditional Catholic and Shinto vows exchanged. Riko is 31 years younger to Nicholas as she had recently celebrated her 26th birthday on January 10, 2021.
For the wedding, Riko was seen in a bridal kimono, handmade in Kyoto. Revealing details about the same, Nicholas’ representative told Hollywoodlife, “She wore the traditional kimono as she walked down the aisle to her “favorite song,” Kiroro‘s “Winter Song,” to meet Nicolas.” On the other hand, Nicholas had looked dapper in a black tuxedo from Tom Ford. On his brother, Marc Coppola’s radio show, Nicholas had revealed how he had proposed Riko and had stated, “We’re really happy together and we’re really excited to spend that time together so I finally just said ”Look, I wanna marry you’ and we got engaged on FaceTime.” He had also talked about the engagement ring which was quite unique. Revealing details about the same, he had said, “I got her a black diamond engagement ring. Her favorite color is black so she wanted the black gold, and the black diamond. I customized and personalized it and I actually sent it to her [through] FedEx.”

Nicholas Cage had met Riko Shibata in Shiga, Japan over a year ago. The couple was first spotted together in February 2020 in New Orleans. The two were again spotted holding hands in March 2020. After the pandemic had struck in March 2020, Riko had jetted off to Japan and spent the pandemic there.
