Nicki Minaj Revives Feud With Jay-Z, Says 'Call Me To Settle Karmic Debt', Mocks Megan Thee Stallion

Nicki Minaj, one of the most loved rappers, singers and songwriters from the U.S., is known for her bold and outspoken personality. The gorgeousness is widely loved by her fandom, whom she adorably calls 'Barbz'. Well, the singer recently got her Barbz rally behind her, as she posted something about her charity, Student of the Game, while poking her old feud with another famous rapper, Jay-Z.

Student of the Game is a charity launched by Nicki Minaj, through which she is helping her fandom, Barbz. Through this charity, Nicki helps students in their education and assists them to be the best version of themselves in fields like music, art and even in life. Well, it was on July 8, 2025, when Nicki took to her X (Twitter) and shared a post mentioning Jay-Z.

The post was about the Student of the Game charity, wherein she stated that they could calculate 100-200MM so far. Well, the next line of her tweet grabbed attention as she asked Jay-Z to call her to settle 'karmic debt'. With this, Nicki sparked their old feud over the music platform, Tidal. She further tagged Jay-Z as one of her close ones, and jokingly added that he would answer to God for the blasphemy. Nicki Minaj's post could be read as:

"We’ve calculated about 100-200MM so far.  #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It’s only collecting more interest. You still in my TOP 5 tho. Let’s get it nigga. And anyone still calling him Hov will answer to God for the blasphemy."

Nicki Minaj continued to drop some follow-up posts on the same matter. In one of the posts, Nicki said that she would use some of the money that Jay-Z owes her to send some of the fans to college and cover their student loans. Nicki's fans have been supporting her, stating that Jay-Z actually owes her money and an apology. Nicki has been responding to her fans' comments, and it also ignited the entire situation.

For the unversed, it was in 2015, when Jay-Z launched music platform, Tidal, with 15 artists including Nicki, Beyoncé, Rihanna, J. Cole and Ye among others. Reportedly, they were promised to have 3 per cent equity from the platform in exchange for promoting the platform and sharing exclusive content. It was in 2021, when Jay-Z sold a huge part of Tidal to Jack Dorsey's company Square for USD 302 million. Reportedly, as the promised 3 per cent equity, after the sale, the partners of Tidal should have gotten USD 9 million, but Nicki got only USD 1 million, causing uproar.

However, recently Megan is facing a legal case involving her photographer, who claimed that he had to witness some obscene activities of the rapper. Well, on July 7, 2025, it was reported that the case would move forward and would not be dismissed for that matter. Now, as this was reported, Nicki took to her X, and started posting stuff such as 'Karma's Law' and 'God's Punishment' among others, which were later blown out of proportion and ended up being a controversy, as the posts were reportedly meant for Megan.
