Nicola Peltz Beckham Wore Revenge Wedding Dress For A Reason, She Renewed Wedding Vows With Brooklyn

Brooklyn Beckham and American actress, Nicola Peltz have renewed their wedding vows amid family tension. And it seems like their second wedding in Los Angeles was more of a relaxed one, with the honour of keeping each other's safety and sanctity of their relationship intact. For the unversed, Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their wedding vows after three years of marriage, and the bride wore a 'revenge dress'.

Brooklyn and Nicola held a private vow renewal ceremony in Los Angeles on August 2, 2025. The couple first tied the knot three years ago in a lavish Florida wedding. It is worth mentioning that the Brooklyn family was part of their intimate celebration. For many couples, a renewal ceremony is a way to mark a milestone, a new chapter, or a significant life event, such as after children leave home.

But it seems like Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their wedding vows after three years due to a rumbling family feud. For the unversed, British model, Brooklyn is the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham. Talking about the bride's look, Nicola chose to wear her mother, Claudia's, wedding dress, which she had worn for her wedding in 1985. 

Amidst Brooklyn's family's absence from their special day, Nicola picked her mother's wedding gown, which seems like a revenge bridal dress. The 30-year-old gorgeous bride wore her mother's vintage ivory gown made of silk fabric. She re-styled the gown and updated it with an on-trend dropped waist and balloon sleeves, which were adorned with floral applique on the shoulders. Nicola kept her look minimal with subtle soft glowy makeup. She held two long-stemmed white roses instead of a big bouquet. A floral headband and a veil made her look whimsical.

It is worth mentioning that Nicola picked a custom Valentino gown, which took a year to plan. The gown was accentuated with handmade French lace gloves and an ornate veil, and it was no less than a work of art. Her decision to restyle her family heirloom seems like a blessing to start the next happier chapter of her life and to avoid the tension with her in-laws. Bridal stylist, Rosie Boydell Wiles said:

"Nicola has gone for something less ‘strict’ and opted for something that feels more ethereal – softer. It’s not overly embellished, it’s not glam and glitzy. It’s a very pared-back, more boho, fluid dress. It seems to portray innocence, as well as strong family values, given that it’s her mother’s."

Recently, in an interview with People magazine, the groom, Brooklyn, revealed that they had a beautiful ceremony and the reason behind it was to create a really cute memory. He added that he could get married to his partner every single day. Brooklyn was quoted as saying:

"It was beautiful We just wanted a really beautiful experience – a really cute memory. To be honest, I could renew my vows every single day with her."

For those who don't know, Brooklyn and Nicola's second wedding was held at a Peltz estate in Westchester Country near New York. However, the guest lists has not been disclosed yet. The bride's father, Nelson officiated the intimate ceremony.
