Currently, Gaurav Khanna has been enjoying his Bigg Boss 19 win, after three months of drama, fights, allegations and more. On the reality show, the actor often made headlines for both good and bad reasons. However, this is not the first time Gaurav Khanna has made headlines. When he was shooting for the show, Anupamaa, Gaurav Khanna was often linked with his co-star, Nidhi Shah. However, the actress has finally opened up about the same. 

Nidhi Shah dismisses rumours of dating Gaurav Khanna

Ever since, Gaurav Khanna won Bigg Boss 19, the social media has been divided. While some fans are celebrating his win, multiple users are finding him ‘underserving’. Recently, a user noticed Nidhi Shah’s like on a reel, which criticised Gaurav Khanna’s win. Later, a user commented on the same and said, “They had an affair during Anupamaa.” Without wasting time, Nidhi shut down the rumours and replied:

“Yaa you know better.”

However, the conversation didn’t end there. As soon as Nidhi Shah replied, the same user gave it back to the actress and shared that the social media captures everything that the actors are trying to hide in today’s generation. The reply was, “Reddit Twitter peeps know better… Always madam.” It is worth mentioning that Gaurav and Nidhi have always been only co-stars and the former is married to Akansha Chamola.

Reality show, Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan had its grand finale on December 7, 2025, in which Gaurav Khanna was crowned as the winner of the show. Laila Majnu actress, Farrhana Bhatt finished at the second position. For the unversed, the top 5 contestants also included Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal and Pranit More. 

As soon as Gaurav Khanna won, fans started to accuse the makers of being biased, as they believed that the CID actor didn’t contribute much to the show, as compared to Farrhana Bhatt. Multiple users called him ‘undeserving’. Not just the users, even some of the Bigg Boss 19 contestants like Zeishan Quadri, Neelam Giri and Nehal Chudasama felt that Farrhana deserved the win more. Recently, Farrhana also opened up about the same and shared:

"In my mind, I was sure I would win the show; I don't know why. When Salman Khan held my hand, he picked my hand only once, and then he picked Gaurav's hand, and the confetti celebration happened. I couldn't believe it. I was breaking from inside, and I was still smiling. It was a very difficult situation for me."

In his personal life, he is married to Akansha Chamola. Now that Bigg Boss 19 is over, a lot of Gaurav Khanna fans are waiting for his re-entry in Anupamaa. Even though, there is no new update from the makers of the show, one of Gaurav's old interviews suggest that he would love to return to the show as ‘Anuj’.
