On October 25, 2024, Nimrat took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures as she inaugurated her shaheed father's statute. Yes, Nimrat Kaur is the proud daughter of a martyred soldier who lost his life in Jammu and Kashmir in 1994. On his 72nd birthday, Nimrat inaugurated her father's statue.
It was an emotional moment for Nimrat, and in her post, she clearly stated that words fail to describe her feelings. She penned that her father was raised in a farmer's family in Mohanpura village and died setting an example of being fearless and fierce till his last breath. A part of her post could be read as:
"Papa was a son of the soil, born to a farmers’ family in Mohanpura village. He led, lived and died by example, fearless and fierce till his last breath. Words fail me today to express the pride I feel standing on this soil, in his birthplace witnessing immortalising his name and life story to inspire present day and future generations."
Nimrat became the target of trollers, who shamed her for being in a relationship with a married man, Abhishek Bachchan, and ruining Aishwarya Rai's life. While there is no truth to this, people are still bashing the actress Nimrat, who worked with Abhishek in the film, Dasvi.
